Umpires pulled the Melbourne train all night to no avail. Free kicks 24-15. Commentators tried to will them over the line.

Pickett would be lucky to kick 20 goals in a season for us, all the goals he gets from free kicks that aren't seen. Plus he would be rubbed out for contests like when he cleaned up Bergman.

Buggered if I know how we won that but take the W. Put it down to Jason Horne-Francis who refuses to lose.

Loved Narkle's second half and that mark and goal, just wow.

All the half backs were good, Lachie was ferocious, the tackle on Fritsch was brutal. And he flew the flag sensibly when Pickett dragged down the Berg.

And no matter how bad that was, be thankful we're not Essendon.
