Was it just me that found the interview after the game with Josh frustrating. I understand how much of a gun Nick is, but F me Josh just had the game of his life 38 touches was amazing and they made it more about Nick than Josh. Little thing I know not much but just thought it should’ve been more about Josh.

It's been a pattern all year. I dont think i've seen an interview with him where Nick is not mentioned. It's the same in the coaches conference. Same question week after week.

We looked better for having the bigger Frampton at full back. I’d still like to see Moore, Frampton and Murphy as our three tall defenders.

I’d like to see more love on here for Frampton. He was excellent last night.

18 marks inside 50 matches what we did in the Blues game, so the forward line is going alright (that game was really not terrible, better than last night's in some ways). Only 9 against the Hawks of course where our game fell apart (this was the terrible one. Easily worst game under Fly).

Just finished watching the game and loves the response from the boys after quarter time. The looked fit, strong and played very hard which is the Collingwood way. This all but confirmed the last two weeks were nothing more than a blip.

then later I see we only won by 8 points and was like...."wtf?!"

Watched the replay at home and saw Rodan just randomly decided to make the scoreline look better and give Geelong a goal? Like...what the hell is this? What's happened to the standard of umpiring? (which already wasn't great to be fair)

When you watch it again, it looks like the ball hits the post, which is I assume what Rodan was about to call and then he probably thought "f it, Collingwood has won anyway, can't be bothered with a score review"

Unless it swung right to left at the very last second? One of the weirder ones for sure. Rodan is the king though.

In: McRae Allan time to debut some players and Sidebottom if fully recovered
Out: Even tho he played well be it a scratchy match De goey time for a 1 week rest Mitchell see De goey

Time to try some untapped talent from the vfl and rest up JDG mitchell.

I like the Howe to forward move be it temp but kind of like it.

Thinking the likes of Murphy can cover Moore ill even try McInness as that extra tall as well.

Thinking time to try out Begg in the ruck and Cox and give Cameron a weeks spell.

Other then that keep the same.

We can at least in a way start tuning up for week 1 finals.

I feel we can win at marvel friday night as well by a few goals.

The problem is percentage. If we lose both our next games, we could finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd if Dees and Brions win both.
That last kick of the match could have cost us 5 points if the decision was wrong. Cameron’s handball receive whilst he was buying a pie from level one shops could have cost us another 6 points.
And his mark in the 3rd quarter from Row AA cost another 6 points.
That’s 17 points added to our points against tally.

Did we look better with Moore off the park? I think he is way too aggressive with his positioning, and this is compounded by the fact Murphy/Maynard are too. We need a pure defender or two who lockdown alongside Darcy - we leaked some pretty poor goals in that first quarter.

We used to leak those goals when we had lockdown types in Roughead, Dunn and N Brown to tbf. Cameron and Kennedy fuelled a number of nightmares.
