Heeney is only 5 games back from an extended injury where he missed 9 games (10 weeks) of seniors. If he is sore he is surely carrying an injury not general soreness?

Teams have been targeting Heeney over the last 3-4 weeks, so I think it is most likely carrying soreness from some of the big bumps he has copped over the past few weeks or as you say is carrying some injury, although I don't think the club would play him if he is carrying any sort of injury.

Swannies website saying that McGylnn is still a chance to get named tomorrow in the team. Anyone think this is possible?

I'm pretty confident that Buddy will play (more confident than Rohan in fact). He is back to full training and needs time to regain form and fitness before finals. They'll probably just stick him mostly in the forward 50 and sub him at the end of the third quarter.

2010 I think it was Ted looked done as a bits and parts player

then if IIRC correctly LRT might of got injured Ted came back in and became an elite defender

Magnificent to get to 250 games

It was 2009 when he was kinda stagnating. Then after recuperating from his punctured lung from Fevola, he bulked up and studied the premier defenders in the leage at the time (Scarlett and Glass I believe he said). It took Craig Bolton and LRT to get hurt for him to get his shot as a KPD.

cool sorry thought he got dropped during 2009

I just remember thinking he could go close to being delisted.

The Swans have made three changes to the Round 22 side that will take on St Kilda at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Lance Franklin, Gary Rohan and Tom Mitchell have been given the green light to play and have replaced Jake Lloyd, Dean Towers and James Rose (all omitted)
