An interesting post at the bottom of the article;

"...The swans pulled up surprisingly well..."? of course they bloody did, they were spectators against the Pies & for the last 7 weeks. Come on Bloods it's time to have a crack. Get back to being hard at the pill. Accountable footy. You've been written off before. The Ford Cortinas aren't ready for the scrap yard yet.

Here's hoping we can re-capture some of our mid-season form running into the finals. IMO Barlow, Fosdike & Malceski should be considered. Fossy & Mal were both very short of a gallop against Geelong (Rd 20).

Is Paul Roos insane. This game was the perfect opportunity to try out some youngsters and instead of doing that he has dropped one of our most promising young players and brought in a guy who has struggled for form for months aswell as another guy who has struggled with injury for months aswell.

what the !!!!!!!!!!!
does anyone have an idea about what is going on in Roos head.

He is changing his tactic from hour to hour. Youre in youre out, you need a rest, you dont need a rest, youre out of sorts, youre in, youre a young kid playing well, youre out, youre injured, youre in, jesus roos, i think youve finally hit the wall. You drop Jack, one week, you drop Vez the next, when both were playing well, you leave spida in when the old man cant even bend down, Goodes is in, out, in, out, pleasse explain....... Im so angry and losing my respect for the man.

****... ABLETT? What the **** did he do last week when he got dropped? There was no ****ing reserves game on. What the **** is going on with Paul Roos??

I suspect Ablett is getting delisted and this is his last game in front of the home crowd.

Well, I hope that's the reason.

I've been pretty harsh on him this year but apparently he's been carrying an injury and has not been able to train as much as he should be so that may explain his severe drop in form. He's still a very poor disposer of the ball and at times a very bad decision maker but I'm happy for him to either stay on the list in the hope he'll come back fitter and better next year or to offer him up for a trade but I don't think there's any danger of him being delisted.
