Trading Grundy for Cameron? Huh?
Metaphorically trading. Swapping. If you like.

Trading Grundy for Cameron? Huh?
It's great watching the last quarter again and appreciating Luke Hodges ineptitude as a commentator and his absolute blinkers in outlining what Carlton can do to hold on.
How about thinking what we can do to win the game you biased twat!!
I'd also take Curnow if McKay wasn't interested. Carlton have 3 decent KPPs. I'd have thought they at least had the bare essentials required to make the 8.Icing on the cake would be if McKay asked for a trade to us next year
drank the tears of Essendon at 3/4 time to get us across the line
We got better than that. “What’s better than winning a GF by 4 points? Winning by 104 points!!”After the 1979 GF loss to Carlton, Harris as their President said - “What’s better than beating Collingwood by ten goals? Beating them by five points . . . in a Grand Final”
Nah, it may have played a minor role. But they were smashing us in all facets. Tbh, all the stats say we shouldn’t have won. Luckily, you cant measure belief, dare, and efficiency.
Yeah but then we get the x, y, z players that Grundy will get us to come in as well so you're effectively downgrading at ruck but gaining talent/depth and removing the worst contract the club has ever signed. Full story please.Metaphorically trading. Swapping. If you like.
I hope you congratulated the other 110 that most likely support our great clubFunny story. I work in a prison. The prisoners were all locked up b4 the last quarter and the place was silent apart from all the TV's in the cells watching the footy in the 130 prisoner unit I work in. I wear my heart on my sleeve and all the prisoners know who I barrack for. As I walked around to check that all was well the silence was broken by the abuse I copped from the 20 odd prisoners who barrack for Carlton. Imagine the most colourful language and insults possible. When the result became final I made a point of using the intercom system to call each and every one of the Carlton prisoners and ask if they needed a welfare check or psych services . I love this club
We played a team that managed 2 goals in three quarters of football. They are not flash. Not usually a big fan of Whateley’s prose, but this is pretty damn cool:View attachment 1486445
Yeah, though Eddie was no better when he commentated.
We are short a tall defender, half a midfield and half a forward line. Four of our best players are on their last legs.Yeah but then we get the x, y, z players that Grundy will get us to come in as well so you're effectively downgrading at ruck but gaining talent/depth and removing the worst contract the club has ever signed. Full story please.
No current season stats available
Cripps was BOG in a Game he should not Played In
Their board is littered with variations of "Charlie Curnow lost us the game."Reckon Charlie Curnow is regretting his decision to sign on at the Blues? The poor fella wins the Coleman Medal in his first year back from injury, and all he gets from Carlton fans online is "that ******* useless Curnow campaigner cost us ******* finals! Zero heart, he's a pathetic ******* campaigner!!"
They're a special bunch, that's for sure
