Watched Hunter closely today, his inside work was outstanding. Just seems to get better each week. Seems to be getting across the ground better as well.

Yep. After the injuries he’s dad it usually takes him 3/4 games to build. He has something different that we need in big games and finals.

Really hope he has an injury free pre season so he can get his fitness up.

We need him getting to 80% game time.

My god that commentary on fox was an outright disgrace. They couldn’t have barracked for the blues any harder and then “Siren! The sinking feeling of despair!”

Are you serious? That was a disgrace. Should be celebrating the wonderful effort of Higgins and the saints rather than lamenting that the Blues lost. My god it was embarrassing.

The thing with Clark and Jones is consistency of football. Get a good block of games and the form comes.
Clark was excellent inside, Jones added some pace and looked good, last 10 seconds of a season he puts on the block to win the game.
We have an ordinary midfield, but it looks so much better with Clark, Jones and Phillipou and Dow with some form.
A couple of young mids, Windy and Henry back and Jones, Dow and Clark an injury free preason and we don't look terrible.

It just shows how important having a full preseason is. Get everyone through the summer fit and injury free and we’ll start the year the way we finished it.

this is the key here, all those 4-7 week injuries on the season's eve then they need another few to regain fitness and form and the season is 1/2 done. Post Bye we have been better than ok, but that doesn't mean we still don't need picks and kids.
