It's amazing what a new voice with new ideas can do to the players.and this from a side coached by a man we all thought had no idea when he was Port's Midfield Coach. Maybe getting away from the Hinkley influence is the answer?
If I'd been paid what he has & been that useless at my job I'd be laughing hysterically. It really is disgusting as was the laughing during the press conference. He's insane or just plain stupid. I'd wager a little of both.
Scoring goals has been hard for this team for many years. It's Hinkleys way.We don't put sides away because we don't kick straight enough for goal in the first 3 quarters of games and we waste so much energy making scoring so difficult. Look at our first goal that Motlop kicked for the game and how much hard work it was, when it wasn't necessary that it was so hard.

The ABC is beginning to notice now:
It might not just be something you can put down to attitude and wait to turn around. The roots might go a bit deeper than that. And if that's the case, the buck stops at one man.
West Coast is a cautionary tale for Port Adelaide. This is what it looks like if you stick fat with a defunct game plan for several years after ignoring the first warning signs.
AFL Round-Up: Comebacks and commiserations in a round of footy to remember
No lead was safe in round three as comebacks were completed and thwarted, while three winless teams face difficult but different futures. We digest the week that was.www.abc.net.au
Don't tell us. Tell Kochie.
Unless David Koch has a light bulb moment there will not be a new voice around Alberton until the end of 2023 at least. Maybe the train wreck this season is heading for will be enough to turn the light on. Who knows?
Hawthorn is probably a better example of the effect of a 'new voice'. Clarkson had great success over the years but he had been there too long. A new face and new ideas has resulted in a resurgence at Hawthorn.
Ray Chamberlain in his usual segment with Whateley on Tuesday said the Mayes free kick was for the gut punch to Murphy, rough conduct, not a high free kick or a holding the man without the ball free.
He said they don't have a signinal for rough conduct, that's why he gave a default high signal. Didn't bother checking the video if you can pick up what the ump says..
