Not 100% sure anyone asked, there J-M, but thanks for the nose news, neighbour.

Just putting an explanation out there in regards to my Roughead > Zorko trade mate.

Everyone seems to be asking about it so just wanted to put down an explanation for them. ;)

Works both ways mate. Hodge McEvoy Stratton Sewell Lake all missing..... Yeah good try.

True but I think Freos outs hurt more.

It was most un freo like tonight.

Their two prime movers out in the midifeld would be like Collingwood having no Pendles and Beams out there.

Really hurt Freo tonight and disrupted their overall game style.

It hurts Freo more because Hawthorn have so much depth. You could argue that all 5 of the players I named are stars in their own right. It will only get easier for Roughy once they get in the team. Your point is shocking calling Freo 'witches hats' because they were missing 2 star players.

336/3

Sandi, Mitchell, Roughead.

I still think Collingwood would have struggled like Freo tonight if they were minus Pendles and Beams.

To me Hawks don't have that calibar of mids missing which would hurt any team.

Freo are a great side but tonight they were made to look like witches hats similar to how the Pies looked against Freo in round 1 but Fyfe and Barlow were playing in that game.

Makes a huge difference with your two prime mids out of your side I reckon and it would hurt any team out there.

Imagine the score line if 2 Norm Smith Medalists played

Judd_Magic - are we half brothers or something? I agree with 99% of your posts on BigFooty. This Roughead to Zorko one is my personal favourite. Cannot stand watching Hawthorn and 'cheering' for a big guy surrounded by two or three other big guys to kick a goal. #sycophancy

Anyone that thinks trading Roughead to Zorko was a good trade should be deadest banned from Supercoach. I feel sick.

Well that was part of my thinking to mate in regards to the Roughead > Zorko trade.

Hawks seem to be kicking alot of their goals though Bruest and Rioli and not going to Roughead as much.

If Roughead doesn't roam up the ground like he did last night against Freo to pick up cheap possessions he will be in trouble scoring wise. Roughead wont roam up the ground as much once McEvoy and Hodge are back IMO.

I think Zorko is going to be more consistent and less prone to the 50-70 points games due to a large part of Leppa knowing that Zorko is a gun as a pure mid and will play him there accordingly unlike crazy Vossy. :thumbsu:

It might depend on how long McEvoy is out for and if Hale is underdone with the shoulder knock. Roughy could be looking a lot of game time on the ball.

Yeah true.

Hindsights a wonderful thing though.

Couldn't predict Hale getting injured.

McEvoy will probably be back next week though I reckon.

Take your urine yellow and pooey brown coloured glasses off for one minute, mate. Roughead, Gunston, Hale, Breust, Sizzle Rioli. Is there enough to go around? Pr (Roughead kicking 4 goals) < Pr (Zorko getting 22 touches and 1 goal)

^ this. Saw him creeping around the half back line too. Fingers crossed Leppa continues to run with Mayes and Green ahead of the Magician in the forward line.

Add Buddy to that list and guess what? Yeap. Roughead won the Coleman Medal. Haha. Goodbye.

I'd rather have a mid/forward in my forward line than a KPP any day of the week at the end of the day.

9/10 they will always put up more consistent scores week in week out compared to a KPP IMO. :thumbsu:

No Buddy though means that Roughead to get the teams no.1 defender week in week out.

Lets just see how he goes through the season shall we? ;)
Well he had an All-Australian defender on him pretty much all night and still managed 116 from just 2 goals, so I think he'll be right... Sick of this no.1 defender bullshit. It's about match-ups.

Then why'd you pick Roughead in the first place..?
