Good points about Newnes poor score and them losing by 74 points.... that however suggest to me that the ball was played mainly in Newnes backhalf vicinity. Id expect a higher score if the majority of the game is played in his area. Ill give him another week to impress, and if not, hes cull material.

Nah if I'm getting rid of Newnes I want to upgrade to Brodie Smith. Docherty the only one i'm convinced out of those 3 that will average more in the long term than Newnes anyway.

i've never understood this logic with regards to backmen
sure the ball spent plenty of time in the Collingwood forward half but it was mostly being controlled by Collingwood players. its hard to rack up points/possessions in the backline when the ball is constantly being run past you or kicked over your head and your team cant win a 50/50 contest.

Does he know how to tackle opposing players with the ball (tackles = points), Or don't they teach them that until their 4th season?

Adams out meant I copped Lonie's 37, been absorbed a bit by Swanny's heroics so I'm still close to 100/player.

It's getting to where I'm hardly even embarrassed about having Grundy in my team...
