Just tuned in, looking at fanfooty how is Doc only on 44? 17 touches, 5 marks, a goal, going at 70% with 2 clangers? No frees against. What deducted him so many points? Usually being so far below DT score I would expect to see clangers galore and frees against.
A fair few sideways/backwards kicks that aren't worth anything.

Do CD even advise publicly how the scores work?
They don’t need to. Everyone knows how they work already.

Probably because only 2 of those 17 are contested. CD seem to get a hard on for contested ball.
When it's that far below the DT score it's pretty much usually always turnovers, clangers or frees against. Unless all his possies are backwards kicks. Like with Cogs it's 6 clangers, 40% DE, 2 frees against so at least there's some clear reason.

Too many backwards kicks and handballs

Just kick it forward and score +7s all night

There are scoring values, but that changes depending on closeness of the game. Sometimes these scoring rules are completely thrown out the window and nobody knows how certain players get that sweet KOTD action.
How about telling people how much a CP is worth, how much an effective kick is worth, how much a turnover is worth, how much an uncontested mark is worth etc. Yes if scores are closer then good plays are worth more and bad plays should result in higher negative points. They should just release their formulas.

Care to explain Ziebull's score each week then?
* Just had a look. Ziebull had 22 kicks and 11 marks in that game. That alone scores well in most games for many players. Also went at 88 percent efficiency. Hence the high score regardless CP and UP ratio. Either way, formula is still inconsistent. To many variables based on stage of game, how close it is etc. Thats why everyone is like WTF? most weeks when comparing players.

It's under the Help menu, top right side of your team screen.

In regards to how CD score,

Kick ins - Sheezel type
CP - Oliver
HTA - Gawn
Intercepts - Stewart
Offensive kicks to advantage - Sinclair
Seagull with good DE - Naicos

This cover it?

I think i need to pay more attention to what CD want.

For kicks you can have effective short kicks (less than 40m and go to the intended target) and effective long kicks (more than 40m to a 50/50 contest or better).

Kicks that are sideways or backwards are worth 0 by themself.

Need Hollands to keep it up. Was one of the poor guys who went Macrae, (still not sold on him, still getting low CBA), to bringing in LDU as Captain. Now stuck with Bonts terrible VC score and Hollands is my emergency. Avoided all the SC carnage until it finally got me this week. No one is safe

Want to trade Callaghan for Setterfield if he plays well again. But at this rate Callaghan wont generate enough money this week to allow the move, considering I was predicted to be able to JUST pull it off.
