I was at the Essendon game last week and they were putrid. Port should have won by a lot more.

Something is going on at the Saints.

The new way the games played was always going to negatively impact teams that are ‘lazy’ down back. Saints don’t have those sort of medium backs that light the world up.

It’s designed to create super teams out of sides that run and carry out of the backline and use the ball well.

Poor kents are getting left in the dirt.
