Yep there are plenty of examples of sides getting off to bad starts and recovering like the cats in 2007…didn’t Sheedy lose 5 of his first 6 games then won 15 on the trot? ‘93 we were on 1.5 wins after 6. Last year and 2019 were we 2w 6losses??
I don’t expect us to win tonight and our record against top 8 sides indicates it will be very hard for us to make finals…but there are plenty of spots in the 8 up for grabs for sides that get on a roll at some point (Gold Coast, Hawks, pies currently in the 8…one will probably make it but not all 3, should give hope to teams that have got off to a bad start like us, GWS, Port, Dogs.

i made good money that night. it started raining and i knew we were cooked
that might have been the night Trengove went nuts with 40+ in an early showing...

Same story in 2017 i think it was.
Was in Bologna. checked the team line ups for Carlton v Essendon.
It was gonna rain. Carlton were $8. $500 down and hotel upgrades were sorted for the rest of the trip
