This game is what I call a 50/50 game. Down 50 points in each half...

Just want to see us be competitive and have someone run with Petracca. Cant believe Truck's comments about not tagging Neale. Horror draw to start the season but doesn't seem we were ready for the season anyway.

This seems reasonable.
Give baldwin a bit of time before introducing

Id drop smith before guelfi
Yeah, be happy enough with Guelfi staying in for Smith. He just needs to be able to hit the scoreboard. Definitely puts more pressure than Smith which wouldn't be hard.

Surprised people are calling for Cutler, I thought he worked into both games ok.

One thing certain, Heppell won't be dropped.

Stewart probably close but not sure BZT is any better.

My reasoning in not rushing Baldwin back was exactly as you said, think he needs more time, same with Wanganeen having not played on the weekend.

When was the last time we made 4+ unforced changes?

I think people will be disappointed if they’re wanting wholesale changes.

Cox likely to miss with the ankle (and probably needs a spell) with Merrett TBC.

Shiel to come back in if fit.

Might see Ham out for Shiel, Cox out for Martin.

Wanganeen and/or Hobbs the wildcard choices who might come in for Smith.

I'd be ok with those changes;

Outs - Cox (inj / Ankle), Merrett (injury / tbc), Smith (omit)

Ins - Martin, Shiel, Wanganeen/Hobbs

With Zach I was expecting it to be ugly.

Without him? If we finish within 10 goals we should take it as a victory.

The combination of rebuilding with poor depth plus key injuries could make for some difficult weeks ahead

Merrett out for Shiel
Cox out for Martin
Ham out for Hobbs
Smith out Wanganeen

Could really omit a few more but no one playing well enough in the 2s

Shiel will come in.
Before martin I'd wager. At least two changes

Methinks ham and merrett for shiel and martin.
Why does everyone assume Shiel will be back next week?

Do people seriously think a side strain will be 1 week?
How many people actually think before posting in these threads :p
