Thinking between

Dixon/Soligo > Xerri

OR

Gawn > Jackson
Soligo > Heeney/Cripps

OR

Just keep my $109k

Makes sense. Xerri as number one and CCJ as number two long-term seems the obvious move. Would just think blooding Xerri would be the priority as IMO he's clearly the best option for the number one ruck spot moving forward.
Another factor is North need to keep him happy, he asked for a trade last year, and is OOC this year. Hopefully he doesn't sign a contract for a while.

Similar to the Dogs and English. He only really wants to be the number 1 ruck so I suspect we’re keeping him happy.

I know he's priced higher than other rookies and there is merit in pocketing some $$$ in moving him on, but Josh Ward is every chance to bite those turf him in the arse.

20 disposals and a goal plus a bunch of CBAs last week. His disposal efficiency won't be poo for too long as he adjusts to the pace of AFL. Also has rock solid job security by the sounds. I have a feeling he'll post a big score in the next fortnight.

Locked in to go:
Whiffield --> Hewett
Dusty --> Cripps via Brodie to fwd

I may have a rethink if Dusty plays, but...

Theeennnnn... I can boost and use one more trade. Will have plenty of cash to do:
Option 1 - Sinn/Gibcus --> Bowey
Option 2 - Turdin --> Xerri

Thoughts are much appreciated.

Yep, that's my feeling on Dusty as well.

Hmmm, okay 1 vote for Option 2.
Another vote for option 2

I too sense that a big score is coming.

Agreed, he's a hold for now, but he needs a good score in the next couple of weeks. You can't wait forever for cash gen when there will be other options along soon.

Won't generate cash quickly, but there's plenty of rookies that will, so i'm perfectly fine with having him at M9-M11 until after the byes.

I've got Stephens, Hayes, Rachele, and Martin on the pine that are all going to make cash quickly, and probably enough for 3 upgrades between the four of them.

I'd lean towards English, personally. Much more scope to be a keeper either in your forward line or even ruck if the alternatives aren't firing.

Will probably generate less cash, but a far safer bet I reckon.

Does anyone know if you have to play a certain amount of games as at the end of round six to be eligible for the dual position change?
The simplest way would be the amount of times they are named in said position + a certain percentage of time played in that position.

But I’m certain that it won’t be something as simple as that.

l tweeked my trades and here's my team. C and VC subject to change. Projected score is 2265...View attachment 1358773

Mate that onfield team is ridiculously good but you really need to think about your non-playing rookies. You can carry 1 or 2 non-playing for loops and the like but more than that and it will start to bite after round 8 or so, when you don't have any cash generation from the bench or cover for outs and other teams will start to sail past you. Especially if someone like Hayes fades and you're forced into multiple trades to get cover.

At a minimum I would prioritise getting Martin in and probably Stephens or MacDonald as well.

You are in deep poo poo. Way too many non playing bench players. Your cash generation is going to be stuffed. Fixing that should be your priority.

Cash gen isn't a big concern. But you're right that English is safer, but you never know with Crazy Bevo.

Jackson isn't going to be first ruck, but doesn't need to really. Expect he'll be inconsistent, but I can live with that at F6 eventually. The extra money could be handy if Whitfield needs to be moved on in the next few weeks too.

Will still be deciding until tomorrow night probably.

You're either taking the p1ss or that is the worst trade plan i've seen so far this week. What's the purpose of these trades?
I was chasing points first time I’ve played my cousin who plays every year said it’s not the way to go he suggested trading Bailey to Heeney and Hill to Bowey with 160k in the bank I am just outside the top 1000

You have Hill and Bailey and you're just outside the top 1000?

FMD I hate Supercoach. No offence. ;)

Being just outside the top 1000 is quite an achievement for an SC rookie, even this early in the season.

Absolutely understand. I just have a feeling he'll become a great scoring rookie pod for those who hold him. Had he hit a couple more targets on Saturday night it was an easy 80 point game.

Absolutely. So many good cheap options this year. People should be loading up on em rather than shuffling the deck chairs I reckon.
