Hi Guys,

I'm back and needing some advice for corrections in my team. Straight off the bat I was thinking of going Cunningham to someone like Saad, and then upgrading Walsh to Rocky/Sheed? Only concern is using 4 trades in the opening 2 rounds? My team is below, any advice will be much appreciated.

Thank you.

You're 1 playing defender rookie short. Cuningham > Clark/Scrimshaw should be your 1st trade.
I'd also get rid of Mills. You could go straight to Lloyd, or save cash and get Newman or Williams.
Either way, u need to keep building a bank to get Dangerfield and 1 of Cripps/Macrae/Oliver/Fyfe. That should be your priority rather than another midpricer like Rocky or Sheed.

so my Heeney to Telly trade frees up just enough $$ to go Billings to Boak ..... But it's tight. I dont think I'd be able to do it next week once prices change

waste of a trade guys, right ? RIGHT!!??

(also have Hore that made need to be addressed )
Not sure on Boak but then Heeney to Telly trade is okay. Telly will be top 6 fwd which is what you picked Heeney to be. So if you think Heeney will not improve, then Telly is a good option.
I guess the same could be siad of Billing to Boak - Billings was a speculative pick, and at this stage there is a bit of uncertainty about Boak's ability to keep up the scoring. Still sideways but more correctional

There are 3 approached you could take IMO:

A) Sideways Swaps, which would look something like this:

Cunningham > Moore
Greene > Dangerfield OR Mills > Lloyd

At some point you should be looking to bring in Danger (FWD), Lloyd, & Gawn, these 3 will most likely be top 2 scorers in their respective positions. You don't have to do it now, but the sooner the better IMO. Moore will make plenty of money (predicted to increase $47k next week) and is averaging a respectable 85, which is very good at his price range.

B) Alternatively, you could prioritise cash generation, for example:

Mills > Rozee (BE -40)
Cunningham > Scrimshaw (BE -48)

Those two alone should generate heaps of money for you.

C) 1 up, 1 down:

Mills > Lloyd
Greene > Parker

Out of the must have rookies (>$200k), you are missing Scrimshaw, Rozee, LDU (essentially a rookie, BE -83), & Parker. I would try to bring in 2 of those in this round for cash generation since your team isn't scoring high enough to significantly climb the rankings anytime soon. Then probably upgrade to Danger, Lloyd & Gawn a little bit later on since their prices won't increase significantly from what they are now. It wouldn't hurt to give Dusty another week to see if he pans out, if he stinks it up again, maybe upgrade him for Macrae/Fyfe/Oliver/Neale/Cripps, all 5 of them are good captain options. Mills looks like a dud unfortunately (thanks to the shit kent Horse). Hopefully Gresham breaks out this season, it good to see him prove me wrong so far.

Good luck kent.
Thanks for the reply, you don't think I should keep Greene? What about Cuningham? and I want to get one of the premo mids whilst they're still cheap, what do you think of that? Rocky/sheed? I was thinking of Cuningham to Rich or Z Williams?

Thanks, but aren't rocky and sheed looking like premo mids this year?

In what parallel universe is Punchable > Danger or Mills > Seagull considered sideways?

Mate I would keep Greene for now in your position. Don't spend your money on upgrading to more midpricers. This includes Rocky and Sheed.
Cuningham should go. Clark or Scrimshaw in.
Mills should go. Either up to Lloyd, across to Williams or down to Rozee/Scrimshaw/Clark and build a bank to get Dangerfield and proven mid premos like Cripps.

If you are desperate for premium mids, you have the cash to upgrade Yeo & Dusty > Macrae/Cripps/Oliver/Fyfe.

I love Richy, but he's not the most consistent player walking around, ZWilliams would be a safer option.
Heaps of people are jumping off of Greene, he's always injured and unlikely to string together a solid form line.
You could downgrade Dusty > Rocky, then Cunningham > Lloyd, that might work.

Use your gut to make the trades you feel are right.

Sheed has never been a premo, and it remains to be seen if he can go 110+, which is what u want from a mid. Rocky has done it before, but not for years and is injury prone.
Given u already have enough mid price risks, and are missing Danger who should be the first picked player as well as Cripps/Macrae/Oliver/Fyfe, those guys should be your priority.

Yes...wish I could do it too without having to make a second trade.
Does Wines coming back concern you? Still think Rocky is a bargain at that price but expecting a bit of a drop in scoring, will still outscore Greene upon his return I think.

nah not really concerned...
the loss of Chad/Polec opens the mid up more for him...Wines has always been there.
shouldn't drop off much, if at all!
bargain...if he stays fit!
