Another with the Heeney and Dusty dilemma. Think I’ll hold on to one of them and trade the other. Not sure which one yet but just wondering peoples thoughts on trading to Libba over Rockliff? Or do I just go with the inform Rocky and back the 50k price rise he will have this week and hope he stays on the park?

Locked in all week, but now thinking:

Heeney > Boak
Collins > Moore

Obviously the thinking is more point scoring potentially, however Moore would be played over Parker/Setterfield on ground, which may not possibly be a huge win if:
A) Moore isn't a keeper and needs to be upgrade anyway; and
B) I would assume Miers would make money easier given his relatively low starting price

What are people's thoughts?

Rd 1 = 59 and he was going to be toast. Then is 85 at half time last week and I had a bone a dog couldn't chew. Cops a tag and eeks out only 26 in the 2nd half.
I really don't need this drama.

Heeney hasn't tonned up in 9 games now, bung ankle and gets played forward too much.

Dunkley now has Libba and Wallis to contend with compared to last year who are stealing his points. Just can't see those 130 point scores coming like he was getting towards the end of last year.

Lloyd and T.Kelly the 1st best defender and second best forward, lock em in Eddy.

I really hope you're right. I had a bad gut feeling about Heendawg and I ignored it.
Not hitting 100 for 7-8 games when your team is in form and you're fit, is not a good sign for when your ankle is busted and your team is shit.

He hasn't tonned up in 5 games (that did include a 93) - 3 to end last year, 2 to start this year. He hasn't gone 7-8 games without 100 since mid 2016.

I`ve seen multiple people claim he hasn't hit 100 in all sorts of time frames now (7 games, 9 games). Just not true?

Mills just seems like he's going to get horsed around all year and won't be a mid... Dunkley, with Libba and Bont playing more midfield seems like will be rotated more....

so tempted to go Walters to Daniel.
how the hell did Walters only get 8 possessions with 89% ToG? even if he was stuck in a forward pocket the entire game that's still pretty ******* bad.
Daniel seems to have the seagull role at the Bulldogs so he's going to see plenty of the football.

i could always leave it for another week but that could end up costing me $50k+ and points if Walters produces another turd.
if this was round 6 i wouldn't trade but its not. it's round 3 and the last chance i get to make corrections.

My question would be what was the reason for picking Walters, if the thought is to trade him out after 1 bad game?

He has never shown any signs of consistency. Not since 2013 has he achieved more 100+ scores in a season than he has sub 70s.

It seems a waste to pick him knowing this and then burn a trade when he`s at the low end of his probable range for average points. Solidly a 80-88 player career-wise, averaged 79.5 over 2 games, chances are his season average improves from here?

Personally think it was a mistake picking him (injury/temper prone 28 year old with lengthy career history of peaking at 88 average who is inconsistent and plays an outside mid/small forward downhill skier role in a poor to average side) but whether or not a trade should be burned early on him, I think you may miss out on some potential big scores? I`d rather be trading him out the week after a 130/140, which he could get v St Kilda.

Dusty back in my team. Leppa said the whole group including the mids and Dusty specifically worked on tackling and shit this week. Hopefully this is a kick up the arse for him and the team to get back to their best.

The issue with Heeney is the uncertainty of his ankle and the role he may play.

1. I dont enough $ (only up to $580k) to go up to Lloyd - otherwise it would be a no-brainer for me.
2. Can't trade in a mid bc then playing extra fwd rookie on field (probably setterfield)
3. Have Moore so can bring in a def or fwd
4. Already have Danger, Telly, Whitfield
5. no others fwds are a sure top 6 - cheap option is dahl or maybe hawkins but paying full price
6. no other def area sure top 6 - possible is Crisp, cheap option Rich, newman, saad.

so.... dahl, hawkins, crisp, rich, newman or saad???

or Sloane or Bont and playing setterfield on field instead of Constable?

Cunningham and Greene to Clark and Parker to get the cash coming in with rookies for later upgrades.
or
Cunningham and Mills to Lloyd and Newman to near finish backline... missing rookies but gain early points.
or
1up 1down ..Mills to Lloyd before he bleeds cash, Greene to Parker making cash for later.

truth is you have a more trades to make than your allowed.
Mills imo has to go..I would do the 1up1down.
