NVB was a more than decent scorer when not being used as Adelaide's primary tagger, being used as a tagger killed his output for a few seasons. He has been relieved from tagging this season and for $215k is scoring well beyond that price, coupled with someone like Miller who doesn't look like he'll produce much, it should be a fairly straight forward rookie correction trade.Wow! 19 pages already!!!
A lot of folks looking at NVB, I'm still not convinced personally. Never been a big scorer, and his scores thus far have come in huge Crow wins. Sure, he'll likely give you a good price rise this week, but no certainty to continue going forward.
If I was in the same situation as others, I would have no qualms about making the Ablett -> Bontempelli trade. You can move Bont forward through DPP at a later date. Bont is a gun. Tag doesn't seem to bother him at all. When you are laying 10 tackles a game, even if his production is quelled a little, chances are he still puts up a decent score, especially for a 422k (eventual) forward.
