I could get Sloane but this move leaves me with 221k to upgrade another shortly.

Cool cool,
Im torn between Sloane/JPK/Shiel ATM. Already have Bonts.

Sloane and JPK are proven, and Shiel is a cheap gun (with a big price rise about to happen), but with only 2 games under his belt.
Anyone seen him play? Can he sustain 110+?

I'm expecting to Smith to play, Parker's concussion was just as bad and he played this week. Bartel only missed due to his history of concussions.
Parker was terrible and scored 50% he's usual output.

Hi all,

I am overwhelmed with trade options this week. I am pretty set on trading out Goodes through DPP and putting Saad in defence and bring in Vandenberg. This will leave me $166,500 and 29 trades.

My team would look like this:
H.Shaw, Lamumba, Newnes, KK, Saad, McIntosh - Oxley, Brown
Fyfe, Bonts, Pendles, Wines, Rich, Wallis, Vandenberg, Hallahan* - CEY, Heeney, Cripps*
NicNat, Goldstein - Cox
Gray, Swan, Martin, T.Adams, Salem, Clark - Hogan, T.Lamb*

I am not sold on Hallahan and could bring in a Mid, Fwd or Back up to 470k. I could hold on him and hope he gets up to the 85 average I believe he is capable of and go Lamb or Cripps to perhaps Van Berlo?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated. I've had my best start to SC ever and don't want to stuff this trade up.

Im weighing up trading Ablett and Will langford to bring in David Mundy and Rory Sloane.... the other option is to trade ablett and goodes to Sloane and maybe Tom Mcdonald....... I might also have enough for Brodie Smith but I am holding off on Smith until I know where he is at after being stretchered off. Either way it will leave me over 200K for future upgrades.

If an 85 average is the best you think that Hallahan is capable of, then there's no point in hanging on to him, since he will make bugger all $ for you and only slightly better scoring than that of the better scoring rookie priced mids. Either downgrade him to a rookie or upgrade to a premo.

Should i go Ablett to Bonts and move Bonts to the forward when clarke, hogan upgrade or Goddard to Bonts and Ablett to Sloane?

Current trades: 0 used
Current funds: ~$8,000
Current team:

B: K Simpson - S Burgoyne - J Newnes - N Haynes - K McIntosh - A Saad (A Oxley - N Brown)
C: G Ablett - S Pendlebury - N Fyfe - J Selwood - C Ward - I Heeney - A Ellis-Yolmen - A vandenBerg (P Cripps - J Anderson - T Miller)
R: S Jacobs - T Goldstein (T Read)
F: H Bennell - D Smith - D Swan - C Salem - M Clark - J Hogan (J Lonie - T Lamb)

I'm thinking I'll go:
Ablett > van Berlo
Lamb > Bontempelli

That would leave me with this and, importantly, ~$222,000 in the bank for next week (though I have no idea how to use it).

But there are about 9,000 other options, and it's doing my head in!

Ok need some help:

Option A
Ablett > Bont
Goodes > Docherty

Leaves me with roughly 200k to Upgrade Jack Steven to Premium between 550-600k.

Or

Option B
Ablett > NVB
Goodes > Docherty.

Will be short a premo mid for a week but then gives me roughly 400k to upgrade jack steven to anyone, plus another 150-200k in the bank for other upgrades.

Obviously not happy with Jack Steven, but he wont make or lose much this week hence why I can wait.
Just hold off a week on Steven. Could possibly go large against my mob this week.:(

Looks like the best option to me. WCE fans can correct me if I'm wrong, but Lamb seems like a strong chance to break back in sooner rather than later - consider Miller as an option too. Should know more after team selection anyway.

CEY could almost justify being on field over Hallahan if he goes alright again, and only one of those two are going to nake you dollars - same to be said of Oxley over KK

Toying with the idea of a rash early trade-out of Salem -> Swan in Round 4, which I should just be able to manage (unless Salem spuds it up or Swan goes nuclear). It'd require trades this round of:

B. Goodes -> Bottom-priced rookie (thinking K. Ramsay at this stage, or even Adamson for DPP)
Cripps -> NVB

Obviously going very early on Salem, but I'm considering it as an aggressive(/foolhardy) move for quick overall points, with Swan as an eventual forward keeper. The rest of my defs are quite even (Gibson, Kelly, Adcock, Newnes, McIntosh, Saad, Oxley), so loopholing would be handy, and I see Ramsey getting games at some point (Adamson won't, but does have DPP).

Would leave me with potential mid/fwd keepers of (Fyfe, JPK, Parker, Priddis, Danger) and (Martin, Bartel, Bennell, Swan, Bont), plus a few of the above defs and Goldy, so I'm hoping that with rookies doing alright I'll get to a full premo squad without running out of cash.

Probably won't pull the trigger but any thoughts?

One of:

Rance
Docherty
Yarran
McDonald

Which one? (Or another sub 460k def)

Mummy>grundy

with

Lambert > Bont or
Goodes > Smith (injury permitting) or

Miller > Vandenberg + Lambert > Mcgrath

Just dont want to miss the bont train if he goes on to be a top 8 FWD, which is looking likely at present form.. But cant cop 245k doing SFA. And again, dont know if goldsteins score is reflecting a loosening on the CD ruck scoring and im making a mistake getting rid of the big fella...
Im going well, but have been carried by good captain choices and making up for the Martin, Griff Rd1 performance and the Gibson out and Goodes vest.
Help

Considering trading out Malceski and Varcoe, maybe oxley and rance.

I think this is the definition of a rage trade, so please talk me out of it.

I umm'd and arr'd about fisher all preseason. Has high potential, and has started well. But if you have Newnes already, and seeing your a saints fan you probably do, then out of the selected id go Docherty.. Has been impressive. Maybe even a downgrade somewhere to get smith in?

With the round 12 bye to take into consideration, and having GAJ, Jobe, Fyfe and Heeney in my mids, I'm reluctant to bring in Pendles or JPK for GAJ. They would be my 2 preferences. Should I just ignore the bye conundrum at this stage as it's still 10 weeks away? Anyone else in this position?
You would be in no worse shape bye wise than you already are.

Couple of corrective trades for me this week
Goodes > N.Brown (already have McIntosh, Saad and Oxley)
Miller > Sinclair

Will give me 90k to upgrade someone the following week if anyone spuds it up badly.
Thoughts?

Cheers,

Yeah already got newnes and geary so prob steer clear of fisher. But you're right he's been good.

Bringing in a sub 470k'er will still give me enough cash to grab smith next week, assuming he doesn't play this week and doesn't go up in price.
