Round 3 trades

If you're not trading out Goodes to a keeper, it seems to be a bit of waste of a trade for mine. Not sure if Docherty will be a keeper. Goodes will probably make some cash sooner rather than later, can't see Hrovat or Hunter coming in for him and Cordy and Grant were reasonably average against the tigers.

Goodes would need 3 games in a row without sub vest to get the 10 out of his rolling average - can't see that happening tbh.

Looking at his/her squad, I doubt they have 200k+ in the bank to do those trades.

I do have enough to do this....
Gaz --> JPK/Sloane
Dudberger --> Goldstein
$40,000 spare

Allows me to trade out a damaged Ablett and a terrible ruck for 2 premo keepers.

Or do I go for the hotter cheaper "cashcow premo" in shiels?

Go the proven premo in JPK or Sloane.

Think I'm going to follow the crowd and go GAJ and Goodes to the Bont and Smith, pending Smith's lid. I considered Touk Touk to NVB and GAJ to Sloane, but if I don't trade Goodes this week I fell like I'm going to be stuck with him for a while. Smith and Bont (once swung forward) will end up keepers anyway

Lachie Henderson first week, Carlton & Dogs have to be 2 of the weakest forward lines in the comp IMO so treating Rance with caution
106 and 104 against arguably the best forward line in the comp, Sydney, last year FWIW

Wines & B Smith
Sloane & Docherty
Bonts & B Smith

Which is the best combo to trade in this week?
Given Smith was knocked unconscious, stretchered off and played no further part in the game and will probably miss this week, there is only one option there.

How is dudburger a bad choice yet?

Didnt he score 95odd rd1 ??

Based on this logic i should dump beams, dumped griffen rd1 dumped dusty rd1 numerous others as well.
ask..why did i choose him in the 1st place? If the answer is no longer valid then trade him out

I'm expecting to Smith to play, Parker's concussion was just as bad and he played this week. Bartel only missed due to his history of concussions.

it's only Monday and this weeks trades are already ruining my brain

I like 1, but Bonts is also a good choice to save the $$.

Yeah I'm leaning towards 1. Not sold on the Bont given he's only played 18 games in his career and I'm expecting his scoring to slow down. I'd like to see how he goes in the next 3 against tougher opponents before locking him in. In saying that he looks like he should be a top 10 forward, but I'm happy not to follow the crowd on that one.

Out: Ablett - Bellchambers
In: Bontempelli - Goldstein

Bellchambers risk hasn't paid off.. gots to go.

Yes the Bont has some tough games coming up but his highlight has been his tackling, 10 tackles in each game is gold. Wingard averaged 100 in his 2nd season and i rate Bontempelli higher than him.

Maybe hes not a "bad" choice, but Goldstein is evidently the "BEST" choice when it comes to Rucks.....
Brisbane are not good this year, and the whole Lions team seem to be suffering.
