Apparently beveradge said something along the lines of..
hate sub rule
no player would be sub 2 weeks in a row.
But he's on extended interchange. He could be out of the team altogether. We won't know until tonight.

Cheers. I'm in a real quandary. I've never been this undecided before with sc.

I was only asking about him bc one of my decisions is to trade out Jong or Salem. I prefer to keep Jong, but the 90k less means I have to look at a sub 550k mid / forward. In the end I can't see too many of them matching sloane's output, but just wanted to do (as a good coach should say) my "due diligence".

Thanks for your input mate

Why would you even consider trading Salem? I've seen one or 2 others also put his name up for trade on here this week. Crazy. Entertaining the thought of trading out a rookie, averaging 71.5 coming off an 88 score with a B/E of -35 who will make 50k this week is doing SC wrong.

Just answered your Q..dont shoot the messenger

with cripps and miller both named on the field and Lamb not back in i think i'll have to miss the NVB boat and go Ablett to Fyfe and Lamb to Hogan.

the pessimist in me says that Miller is likely to be dropped next week and Cripps will miss from now till rd 15 with back injury whilst NVB goes onto avg 100 and make mega bucks for those that have him. and of course Lamb will come back in next week and Hogan will start to pump out 30s.

Bloody Leuey has stuffed up my trade plans. Have to use a trade on Goldy now, instead of bringing in Hogan on the bubble.

GAJ > NVB
Leuey > Goldy
300k in the bank for a rookie upgrade in 2 weeks.

hehe wasn't my Q but anyway.....

Considering Sheed to NVB as a sideways. Worth it or not?

How many other trades have you used?

if answer is less than 3 then yep I'd certainly consider it

Only one corrective trade so far to bring in Smith after week 1. Considering two trades this week. One will be someone (probably Sheed) to NVB and also strongly considering Lumumba to Laird. Still not sold on the second trade but Laird did well in preseason and the first two rounds, and Adelaide has a good draw. Lumumba to Laird would bank me $100k.

If we keep agreeing like this, rumours are going to start.

It's time someone posed a question on Furphy, just so we can put everything back to normality ;)

Other issue I have is no loophole options this week. 29/30 playing and my only non player is Mason Cox, and the pies play first up. Pretty confident going with Fyfe though in the local derby. No Scott Selwood for the weagles. Just the kind of situation where you are hoping there is a late out somewhere......

If he's out of the team then Beveridge didn't lie!

If he's out of the team then he won't lose any value this week and I have cover for him, so Malceski out is the best option for me anway.

So many underperforming defenders, not enough Brodie Smiths

I have a strong feeling we will have a late out. There has been a lot of talk about Moore debuting this week and he is named as an emergency. Riewoldt would have to be in doubt too, surely.

I think the most likely in my team is Brodie Smith. Still doesn't really help me though as they play the 3rd game and I don't really have any VC options in the first two.

It's more just a case that I'd prefer to keep Jong out of the 2. might just keep them both and punt Goodes, that way I grab Bont next week.

Cash on offer this week
Lamb to Salem?
Lamb to McGrath?
Hold Lamb and loophole?
Pretty happy with every other rookie

Here's my current team. Pretty much nailed the rookies which I'm happy with. Considering Sheed>NVB. Any suggestions? Also want to get Laird but not sure who to trade out (if any)

My wishlist at the moment is Swan and Bonts up forward, Shiel and Lewis in the mids and Laird and Doc in def.

Hey guys, need your opinion.. I can't decide between these 3 trade options:
def GOODES > B.SMITH
mid LAMBERT > NVB
fwd LAMB > TEX

I have about $350k in the bank atm after going Ablett > Bont
For pure cash generation option 2. For points probably option 3. For high risk option 1, simply because I doubt Smith will play this week.

I'd certainly do the prince to laird trade.

Bank the 100k.
eagles have mass injuries so sheed job security is good. He mite make 50k less than nvb but is that worth a trade.

Ps love the zac smith pick

Thanks mate :thumbsu:

Here is the rest of my team... I'm thinking DEF is abit weak and will benefit with Smith.

If I go the 3rd option LAMB > TEX that will leave me with hardly no $ in the bank, where as the first 2 options will still leave me with approx $200k in the bank for upgrades down the track..
