Why was English so shit on the weekend? I was getting pissed on Sunday but I checked live scores on my phone and he was on like 0 in the 2nd quarter

95% i wont be trading this week, the obvious one would be Lobb > Taranto but ill stick with Lobb for a few more weeks yet i think, he still has good potential imo and lets just hope last week was just a once off.

The main glaring hole in my team is no Titchell but apart from that am very happy with all my selections so i reckon Ill be going into round 4 with the full 30 trades which is a first for me.

Unsure of who to turn into Holman though. Thought of backing in Brayshaw for the long run and turfing Garlett, but now ZGL is dead.

Think i might stick with ditching Garlett and just carry ZGL for a while, at least then I'll finally have a donut to use for VC.

Sounds at face value to be a couple of good trades .... Crouch was forced, Heeney will ave 20 points more that Dahl at this stage

Sadly... it's pretty clear I'm not winning the 50k, so my attention turns to the $600 I can win against my mates. My thought are to hold M Crouch on the bench for the 2-3 weeks and save the trade and run with Kelly, Holman and 1 of Brayshaw, LDU or Barry are my last 3 mids. Thoughts?

Struggling with this one... Langdon out for a month has thrown a spanner in the works... Which is best? I'm currently ranked 468 overall for what it's worth.

A) Brayshaw to Ryan, freeing up cash for Crouch to Danger

B) Crouch to Parker, Langdon to Ryan - leaves me 147k to get danger later

C) Crouch to Oliver or similar, Langdon to Ryan

How likely is Luke Ryan to keep up his scoring? Haven't watched much of Freo's games this season. Is he more of chance of finishing top 10 defenders than someone like Bonner?

The ball movement is better with Wilson and Ryan seems to be on the end of it a lot. Because of him and Wilson our 50 defensive turnovers have replaced and that allows us to set up better in the back half an therefore, more intercept marks for Ryan.

I expect him to average around 90.

B) Simpson + Coniglio
Both of these involve swinging Garlett forward and I will need to field Fritsch + one of Ryan/Garlett (can only be loopholed Rd3 and 6 in the next 7 games - hardly useful)

or
C) Simpson + McLean
Which is the safe pick - 2 keepers, very bye friendly.

or
D) Cogs + Bonner + 350k Danger Fund

Hard decision. Value for money vs safety vs 50/50.

Any ideas what to do? Before Sicily got suspended I wanted to go Hibberd to Bonner and Brayshaw to Coniglio. Now with sicily missing next week I dont really want to have 5 rookies on the field down back. Plus ZLG is out and I probably should trade him to garlett for cash generation.

Option 1:
Hibberd to Bonner
Brayshaw/Barry to Coniglio

Option 2:
Hibberd to Simpson/Heater/Ryan
Naughton to Bonner

Option 3:
ZLG to Garlett
Hibberd to Simpson/Heater/Ryan

Option 4:
No trades

Don't think anyone has replied to you, so I will (even if I'm still undecided) because we have rather similar teams and that same initial thought. My difference is that I didn't start with Ryan (WCE), so I kinda want to bring him in as well as Cogs & Bonner. I'm just still confused to the rankings of the 3.

Like you, it's a shame we can't simply go Naughton to Bonner and be done with it. I also have Clark instead of your LDU, so you definitely got your rookies picked better than mine.

Another option for you is to finance the Naughton > Bonner trade with a downgrading of Brayshaw or LDU. I guess Garlett is the most obvious downgrade there, if not a perfect one.

I think it all comes down to how much we want Coniglio (will he be a top 20 mid?) and/or if Hibberd can still average mid 90's. Unfortunately, I'm still undecided on these things myself.

By the look of it, you seem keen to ditch Hibberd, so I'd favour option 2 in that case.
