95% i wont be trading this week, the obvious one would be Lobb > Taranto but ill stick with Lobb for a few more weeks yet i think, he still has good potential imo and lets just hope last week was just a once off.

The main glaring hole in my team is no Titchell but apart from that am very happy with all my selections so i reckon Ill be going into round 4 with the full 30 trades which is a first for me.

Don't use these guys they're going bust!t

That all depends. What are you planning to do with your 40k you've made over the next 8 weeks?

If he averages a generous 50ppg from here till round 12, he makes you 79k.
He may be worth holding onto this week but certainly not long term. The sooner the better

Obviously all depends on when the next rookie defender is available. Not going to bother trading in a L.Murphy for the sake of chasing $$$. When Naughton has made his $50,000 or so then that trade is more viable.

This is pretty much my plan...I’ve gone Hibberd down to heater and Coffield to bonner.
Just worried Hibberd will fire up again. Lack of kick outs is a definite warning sign tho imo

Tom Stewart as a POD in defence? Cats are letting in a ridiculous amount of I50s at the moment, and Henderson and Taylor are out (not sure how long though)

Thoughts on Zac Fisher? I knew Sicily would sh*t the bed, is Fisher a good option to free up a possible Beams to Danger upgrade?

or do I upgrade Sicily straight to a Billings??

Already have Heeney, McLean & Dev

Sideways trading a premo because of a 1 week suspension is a waste, especially early on where everyone has lots of rookies on field. Sicily will be a valuable asset come the byes with his B/F DP swing. Sideways trading him won't make as much difference as starting the right rookies on field. You could achieve this by using Sicily as a loophole doughnut this week. Rd 3 is a good week for rookie corrections though.

Thoughts on westhoff? Port look like they will win a lot of games and he has added ruck responsibilities with Ryder out. I think he is the real deal but I’m afraid I might be chasing points.
Stay away from the Hoff. Far too inconsistent. He got smashed in the ruck on Sunday hence the reason Port had to throw Dixon in there at the start of the 2nd half.

When Ryder is back, Hoff will be played all over the place depending on the status of the game. Plus he might get the occasional rest as he is now 31 years old.

I didn't start with Danger but was planning to bring him in after his first couple of rounds. I've got Merrett and concerned about his upcoming huge price drop due to his concussion in rd 1 so wonder whether I should make the trade this week even though Danger is likely going to drop (but by much less). Is it also crazy that I'm tempted for Ablett over Danger?

Hey guys, which trade is better..?

I'm already going MCrouch -> Dusty

And for my 2nd trade i'm weighing up the following 2 options:

JOM -> COG (and be left with not much $)
or
Rayner -> Fisher (be left with around $80k)

Wouldn't trade Merrett. You picked him as a keeper, and there's no reason to think he won't average 110 (excluding round one's score), so any price changes as a result are irrelevant imo. Scored well in Round 2.

Cogs. Fisher is most likely a stepping stone imo. Cogs could potentially be a strong M8.

Hey guys, thoughts on these two trades:
ZGL-->Petracca
or
Naughton -- Mclean (Via Sic)

Prefer Mclean over Petracca, but not sure if the difference is worth having an extra non-playing cash cow.

Decision down to trading out Sicily or Hibberd.

I think both will average 85 from here. So assuming this is correct (it won't be haha) then this decision won't impact scoring beyond this week.

Trading Hibberd pros: more cash to help with next upgrade

Trading Sicily pros: helps scoring this week (Hibberd v looping Murphy/Naughton)

I like Petracca. Think he is still going to score just as well as McLean. Could go huge against the Roos this week.

Trengove out for 3-4 weeks (and Roughead under a concussion test) makes English even more appealing.

Tempted by
OUT: Langdon and Garlett
IN: English and Ryan

If I had to pick one, I'd trade Sicily.
Just think he could go back to his old ways, Sicily I'm not sold on, always on the cusp on doing something stupid too.

Get Ryan in son, English im not so sure. If we arent putting him on our ruck bench im not so sure he is worth it. Will he score enough to make cash? I’d want him as my cover for Gawn/Stef but I dont want to get rid of my main man Olango

Why was English so shit on the weekend? I was getting pissed on Sunday but I checked live scores on my phone and he was on like 0 in the 2nd quarter

Thanks mate you have convinced me I’m looking for a fwd to replace zgl I already have heeney billings McLean and Devon with a decent amount of cash. I’m unsure what to do first trade nerves I suppose.

Ok it's early days, all of this depends on who is named this week:

Naughton -> Murphy (holding Sicily and hibberd)

H Clark -> fogarty (cats)

Have the other must have rookies. Want to maximise cash generation.

Concerned on missing out on Cogs at his price, but i have to cull hibberd or Sicily to get him, but not prepared to drop them after just 2 rounds. Its a long season...
