To All Dangerless peeps: What's the thinking on when to bring him in?

If I plan to bring him in round 5/6 in line with downgrading to this next batch of rookies ie. Higgins/Coffield, then will bring in Taranto/Fisher this week.
If I wait until later then can bring in fwd premo like McLean this week.

Already have Dusty,Titch, Fyfe, kelly, Cripps and holman/kelly so at this stage no great rush, except it feels naked without Danger.

I'm watching to see how he goes this week, I've got enough cash to bring him in but wanting to see what the Ablett, Selwood factor means to his scoring.

Is it sustainable though to average more disposals than Shiel, Kelly, and Ward? I'm not convinced.

Probably not but he can still keep up a good score without doing that.
He was a #2 draft pick tho and averaged 27 touches in the TAC cup. Was also said to be a ready made player last year but got injured.

Fisher and Taranto are 2 different picks.

Fisher you would be picking up now, hoping he can keep a reasonable pattern of scoring and make you 100k-150k before upgrading him to a real premo. I think there is less risk and more upside in going with Ryan.

Taranto you would be picking up as a potential keeper for 365k, not cash generation. If you think this will be his break out year and that he can sustain his scoring, then sure. At his price you are banking on him to sit in your side all year. Bear in mind a 2 game sample is not very indicative considering GWS won both of these games against much lesser competition and round 1 was an absolute flogging of the Bulldogs.

I'm thinking along the same lines and trying to plan ahead.
Already have the main cash gen rookies and no real upgrades other than Danger until the rookies start to moo. It just all depends on their scoring and who can maintain their current scoring. Fisher @ avg 80 makes $20K more than Taranto @ avg 95 in Rd 11 - but who knows if that's going to be the scoring...

I also have Lobb who I'm thinking will be upgraded to Danger bc he is unlikely to be top 6 fwd.

What's your thoughts on Josh Kelly? I know he's a gun and only getting better, but how is his season gonna compare to the likes of Dusty, Titch, Danger etc.
If you had to choose, would you bring in JKelly, Dusty or save coin and go Conigs?

I know DFog could come back and shit, but Barry looks good and i think his JS is solid, rather have that cash generation there than a donut for x weeks.

Well I have finally found my way back again for the first time of the new season. Hope all the regulars and campaigners on here are able to give me some much needed advice because my side needs it urgently.

Right so at the moment have Crouch (Inj) , Beams , Byrne (Inj) , Rioli, Sicily (Susp) and Giles-Langdon (Inj) all causing me huge headaches... Also carrying Armitage but not disastrous for the $$$ outlay.

Looking to move Beams definitely and either Byrne or Giles-Langdon out but what to replace with is the headache.

Current side is:

S. Martin, M. Gawn (T. English)

There are three options

Grab the two remaining rookies that are popular (Barry & Ryan) with an eye to grab Danger & Martin next week! Are either of these guys must haves?

Grab one rookie and a Premo or an inform Mid Pricer this week (Simpson, Martin, Coniglio, etc) but less funds for future upgrades)

Grab two Premos (Coniglio & Gray for example) but burn virtually all salary in doing so?

Anyone got any advice for my situation? Reckon I am about 4 weeks away from going full Judd-Magic and trading my a*** off to put myself out of my suffering and misery.

Anyone got any suggestions on what I should do here? I have been staring at it for 4 days now and am no closer to an answer!

Never posted my full team here asking for advice... But I am stuck here. The biggest holes in my team are Beams & Lambert (I will back Lobb in for a couple more weeks). Also feel as if I should have Titch or Danger. Really annoyed because I nailed my FWD line with McLean, Billings and Dev but Lambert and Beams were awful picks so far.

Brayshaw - I want to back him in thinking he'll come good, but has the potential to be a real trap if it goes pear shaped.

ZGL - I'd like to keep him, he's solid and at least i'll finally have a loophole if i can carry him for a month. Albeit a shit loophole.

Garlett - My choice. Is a low scoring crab, but at least he's playing.

About 1 in 5 Hibberd owners have had enough, as it currently stands... close to 10k with the axe! But what is weirder is that almost 2,000 people traded him in after his poor game in round 1.
