Very 50/50. Can't see him being a top 10 mid come seasons end as i thought he would be which means he will have to go at some point. But the way he's using it if he can just rack up 20-25 touches he'll score over 100 and i feel if i trade him out there definitely could be a big score missed.
I'm with you thinking he won't be top 10 mid so in my mind i should trade him ASAP and get the points of someone who will be. Also before he loses more cash

Hey guys,

I need your recommendation... Here is my team with $203k in the bank.

I think my DEF is a liability, no depth/coverage and Newnes/Goodes have been disappointing.

I wouldn't mind upgrading in my MID either, What are thoughts on A.Swallow??

I'm prepared to stick with my ruck combo atm, as any trade i make would be sideways..

Cheers in advance :thumbsu:

Like you said def should be your concern atm. Just go goodes to any defender that you think will be top 8 that you can afford. If there isn't any that you like then maybe hold off for a week for drop in price...

Don't think you might have missed the Hogan boat and should wait a week for the krak train?

Hogan still has the lowest B/E (-32) of all the rookie forwards. Will go up another 47k this week if he scores his projected score of 76. Even if he spuds up he will go up 40k. I missed his 1st price rise, but certainly haven't missed the boat entirely. I've never understood the logic of not picking up a cash cow just because you've missed 1 price rise. His current price is still only 196k, so he should make another 100-120k minimum for here on. I will downgrade/upgrade him when he maxes out.

I'll pick up Krak when he's on the bubble for Rd5 for whichever Mid or Fwd rookie is closest to mooing.

Fair enough. Just a couple of points tho;

i would think you want to make at least at 200k from a trade because i doubt you need his points on the field

A 40 pt game from hogan will really stagnate his mooing

by bringing Krak in for a cow that hasn't quite mooed you are giving up dollars there as well where as is you wait a week and miss hogan you will probably make close to as much money and save a trade.

just food for thought. To be taken with a grain of salt

2 trades already down

with still a couple of holes to fill and 614k in the bank

Kolodjashnij not playing so well
rookies in Lambert and Lamb not getting a gig?
Too many rookies playing def?

What would you upgrade first

I hear what you're saying, but due to having to upgrade Leuey last week and some poor initial rookie picks: I have Brown, Hamling, Lucey, Lambert & Lamb on my benches not making any money at all. This needs to be corrected with rookies that ARE making money immediately, otherwise I will fall behind most other teams in regards to cash generation from downgrading my bench players which at the moment only are only Lang & Miller as far as making $ goes. I definitely don't want to downgrade any of my starting (good scoring) rookies to a Krakouer because it will weaken my on field scoring. Situation is far from ideal having to use extra trades on bringing in more cash cows, but it is what it is.

Yeah fair enough. Didn't know your slaughterhouse was that bare. You obviously need to do whatever you can to generate cash asap

I can't wait to offload that campaigner Griffen.

When is the best time to trade him to Beams or JPK?

My SC Gold trial ran out so no idea of the breakevens at the moment.

Mate, you really can't go 19 weeks without SC gold.

Its 107 and he only lost $3k this week. I think people are over-reacting but it doesn't bother me, I have bigger holes to fix.

Cheers.

Was more interested in Beams and JPK's breakevens though as I want to know how much cash they will be losing in the next couple of weeks.

Oh, it's bare alright. Just look at this mess (pre-trades). I have only 2 bench players making $ FFS and no def, ruck & fwd bench emergency cover.

If you have a better idea on how to get this team back on track, by all means share your wisdom. (I have 318k in the bank)
