He would be trading Newnes out for a few reasons..... he's mildly overpriced, hes scoring worse than the rookies, McIntosh is a wasted scorer on his bench, and perhaps most importantly, it may allow you to get Rory Sloane (arguably 2nd best player in the comp ATM) in return. Its not like Im suggesting trade Newnes out for a sideways trade or for nothing...... Its basically 2 trades + Newnes --> Sloane.

Worth it IMO. May not be to others :)

Does not matter if McIntosh is a wasted scorer on the bench. He is still making cash for you even sitting on the pine.

And the golden rule is that each trade should be "valued" at $200k and there is no guarantee that the rookie he is downgrading Newnes to will be there for the time needed to recoup some of those funds. I can't see the value in what has been suggested.

But like you said, Everyone is entitled to their opinion :thumbsu:

Yep, No worries "Nelso".... I don't have a man-crush on Newnes. but for your viewing pleasure Ill attach an image so you can enjoy.
Im sure Thugee will make his own mind up. Would be interested to know what path he chooses ;) images.jpg

What's your team at present? Depends a bit.
Hi, I need some help. So I have Yarra but I'm not sure who to change him to. Im happy to burn two trades. I'm sort of wanting Birchall but if I want him I have to also ,ale another trade besides yarran, any sugestions please

does trading griffen>>Dannebery sound like a stupid move? just thinking of griffen and looking at his scores make me wanna punch my laptop

I'm not sure who to trade Wines out for.

Only end up with 617k to trade him out and I'm not willing to make 2 trades to free up more cash.

At the moment I'm torn between Jordan Lewis or Dion Prestia (Feel free to suggest other options).
Prestia will be a massive POD, and seems to be improving each year at the suns.
But Lewis is the top possession taker so far this season.. so might significantly outscore prestia if he can up his DE.

Thoughts?

I have griffo but I'm just going to hold him at least until the byes. He might just be having a slow start to the year.
Hannebery can have some shockers as well, there are better options out there if you really want to trade.

Well the McGrath injury makes it a simple decision for me now.....
McGrath --> Krak
Wines --> Selwood
$3000 spare cash.... meant to be

Jaden McGrath, Sam Mayes and Claye Beams have suffered injury setbacks and will spend time on the sidelines.
McGrath has been diagnosed with a stress reaction in the navicular bone in his foot, and been ruled out for 8-12 weeks.

Youre either having a great season so far or burning trades to chase last weeks points. Assume it's the former
Nah it's my first year. Had a good week last week and starting to make some good decisions. ,y theory is well I'll burn so,e trades to get a gokd team and wish for no injuries lol. It's a tactic, but yeah I have yarran out so what to do I have no idea. I love Birchall but just not sure. In fact backline just seems impossible to nail as most teams have half with rookies and time will tell if they can keep it up

I wouldn't do 2 trades to sort out yarran. Looo at THunt maybe. Otherwise take the best available. If there is noone you can afford that you like maybe wait till teams and see if Goddard gets a game then hold off on yarran for a week and see what rookies get on the bubble.

Two trades is ok, I mean my team has weaknesses, one thing I sort of not sure is having westhoff, buddy and walker in same side, buddy safe and walker more looking maybe a westhoff move for a mid/ forward. The hoff just hasn't been on as he usually is. Thinking I could get a mid/ forward for 400 g then also get Birchall?

Here's my rabble, I have 48k left

Thinking DPPing Bellchambers fwd for Bartel and getting in Goldstein or straight swap Bartel for Roughy, not sure if downgrading Bartel to Bonti is the way to go

Apart from that the cows seem like months from mooing :mad::cry: and there's no point trading Swallow and Gryphon out as they are scoring a tad better than the rookies except CEY, I also would like them to be depth players once the cows have mooed and are culled and buzz them off to M9/10 and be called upon when injuries strike.

Would be nice if Sydney gave Naismith a run
