why not trade Yarran for Newnes - so many nutjobs trading Newnes out, as soon as he fixes his disposal efficiency he'll be a great p.o.d for those who showed a bit of patience. And in case you're wondering I'm serious.
He is been harshly done by imo, scoring better in DT at the moment

I'm not sure who to trade Wines out for.

Only end up with 617k to trade him out and I'm not willing to make 2 trades to free up more cash.

At the moment I'm torn between Jordan Lewis or Dion Prestia (Feel free to suggest other options).
Prestia will be a massive POD, and seems to be improving each year at the suns.
But Lewis is the top possession taker so far this season.. so might significantly outscore prestia if he can up his DE.

Thoughts?

How about a forward? If you don't have Buddy, Dusty or Gray (though Grays price will drop over the next week or 2)

Here's my rabble, I have 48k left

Thinking DPPing Bellchambers fwd for Bartel and getting in Goldstein or straight swap Bartel for Roughy, not sure if downgrading Bartel to Bonti is the way to go

Apart from that the cows seem like months from mooing :cry: and there's no point trading Swallow and Gryphon out as they are scoring a tad better than the rookies except CEY, I also would like them to be depth players once the cows have mooed and are culled and buzz them off to M9/10 and be called upon when injuries strike.

Would be nice if Sydney gave Naismith a run

Goldy is a good choice to me. I think with Rough you're chasing last weeks points.

I still have 30 trades left and 30k in bank, im unsure if i should trade anyone.

Havent got the cash to upgrade Goodes and no one yet worth downgrading to.

Other players on the chopping block would be Bellchambers, Griffen and Newnes.

Nice position to be in - great starting team. I'd hold, then get Krakouer in next week.

You serious?

Use up your cash dude and get Lewis in, you should have 10-15 cash cows mooing over the next few weeks who will boost your balance, think of them as "assets"

Lowest score of 97 so far dude, if that's going to be the norm for Roughy then he'll be the best forward available.

Then throw in the multiple 5-6-7 goals hauls and go 120+ once every 3 weeks and he'll average 110 easily

With McGrath now going down i think I'll hold off on my Griffin to Bonts trade this week. Week 3 and have 2 LTIs. If this continues I'll have no chance of completing a team and would wish for griff at m8. Still need to correct goodes and anderson as well.

Maybe anderson to Gregson depending on teams. Then next week goodes to rookie and McGrath to tarrant / krak. That's 5 trades total. 3 rookie correction and 2 LTI. That's about my early season quota right there

That's not going to be the norm for Rough. His best ever season average is 104 and he's twice averaged over 100. If he averages 110 for the year I'll be flabbergasted.

Last year Rough went 184 in one week. Sandwiched either side by a 52 and a 71. If you want to trade Rough in - and I agree he's a good chance to be a top 6-8 forward, wait until he has a few sub 80 scores in his cycle. Buying at his current price is throwing money away.

Like Martin then Beams, it appears Newnes is going to be the rage trade. So I'd better bring him in AND put the C on him!

I rage traded Beams in DT, don't regret it at all even if he scored 126 this week

Will probably get him in again once Rockliff and Hanley are back deflectiing the tag away from him

Hey guys,

I'm throwing up a couple of trade options, what do you think?

$203k in the bank

Option 1
Newnes > Hodge ($107k left in the bank)

Option 2
Swallow > Hodge ($168k left) - this will also allow me to use DPP with my DEF

Option 3

Swallow > Sloane ($48k left)

Any other suggestions will be welcome!!

So Lamb necessitates a trade, I've got enough dollars (467k) to get a decent midpricer, but if I go like for like (i.e. A rookie pricer) then the best options would be Robbie Tarrant or Nathan Krakeour?
Currently swan martin hogan salem dickson lonie clark lamb. Would be nice to have lonie and one of the other rooks (probably salem) on the bench.

Any other young gun I'm missing?

I know you get 2 trades per week in DT but if you plan to get him back in again what price are you expecting to pay? You're going to spend 2 trades to make 5-10k? You could argue his replacement might outscore Beams while he's out of your team but it would have to be by some massive amount to make such a trade worthwhile.
