Really tough week. I'd love to get Ridley in but I think i'd be giving up too much either in side ways trading a decent premo or culling guys prematurely. So i'm going to just swap Kosi for Chapman and leave it at that.

Same, I’d love to Clark > Chapman and ZWilliams > Ridley but it’s another 2 trades to just tread water.

I wouldn't consider Hurn to be a seagull though brah, moreso the old school interceptor type and old school being 2015 Tom McDonald style when CD decided to start giving interceptors a shitload of points

He's a fair bit seagull the way he defends his free chips from kickouts.
King seagull had Witherden placed in the WAFL to protect his chips and my SC score too.

I'd go Dow to Waterman. You're gonna want him anyway. Or Chapman through DPP magic and bank the cash for a ruck upgrade next week.
Then go Gawn or Grundy from Meek.

Your back and forwards are stacked to D6 and D5 and you've got most of the best rookies. Rucks are gonna be your biggest problem.

22, 77, 29, playing as a small forward, kicked a nice clutch goal too today unlucky he didn't get many points for it, feel he'll come good in time.

Reminds me of when Papley and Hewett were rookies in everyone's teams in 2016

I mistakenly dumped both too early, they did get me upto Zorko I think, but the extra cash they would've made by holding a few more weeks would've been pivotal midseason, instead of making a reactionary trade based off 1-2 poor performances.

this is key. if you can avoid making trades now it will help you heaps down the track. its a long season boys. 6 trades out of 30 done by round 4 is not good. im burning ive used 5 but i think ive done well considering i had danger rowell caldwell and neale.

I'm only 2 trades down (Danger & a rookie correction) although I regret trading Danger to Oliver now since I wasn't expecting Oliver to attract a tag with Tracc in the team and using up all cash reserves for that trade was also not well thought out. Would have been better served doing Danger > Ridley & HJones > Impey in Rd2 but yeh, it seems so easy with the benefit hindsight.

I feel a bit boxed in with my GnR set-up at the moment with only $11k bank and a couple of rookies too many on-field but at the same time not keen on trading out any of my premium assets for 2 mid pricers, especially whilst there's a half decent Def rookie on the bubble (Chapman) available this week and all 3 of my Def rookies possibly not playing this week.

Thoughts on the best way forward this week?

The DNP’s are hurting my anoos, but most of the others are mooing along.

Might sit and wait for a couple of weeks or else Judd_Magic and I will be selling our bodies on Grey Street for more trades by Rd 15

Unless you want to trade out a premo there really only looks like 1 logical trade Kosi to Chapman and wait another week or two for the rest of the rookies to go up in price and some new ones to play.
