Quick way to estimate:
Take the score you think Brayshaw will get.
Subtract his BE score from that.
Multiply the number of points by $425
Example:
Brayshaw:
Price: 544.2k
BE: 62
You reckon he goes: 115
Difference: 53 pts x 425/pt = 22.5k
So say he lands at 567k
Cripps:
Price: 523.7k
BE: 137
You reckon he goes: 80
Difference: -57 pts x 425/pt = -24.2k
So say he lands at 499k
And you can fo the other way and see what they need for your case:
For Brayshaw to go +30k, he’ll need to beat the BE by about 70 pts
For Cripps to go -50k, he’ll need to score about 20 pts, so -118pts vs the BE, give or take.
Anything’s possible, but reckon you’ll be OK, that’s a pretty extreme scenario.
Great info gutsroy. There have been a number of instances where SC projections are likely to be wildly inaccurate, nice to know how to re-calculate different outcomes. e.g. there was no wat Errol was ever going to follow up his 140 with anything even close to ... ah crap.
Brb rethinking my life choices.
