I think it’s not worth getting chandler in anymore
Dees have a great run, he'll keep scoring. I think he'll get to $350k easily. $150k profit is worth it.

Eagles
Bombers
Tigers
Roos
Suns
Hawks
Power
Dockers
Blues

Particularly that next 6 looks very juicy, 6/6 big wins coming = goals and points for Chandler

Any concern around Chandler JS or is he a best 22 lock now?
Nope, looks very comfortable.

Only looking at the one definite trade this week with Cameron to another ruckman,

With the cash I have left my options are Goldstein, Grundy, Blicavs, Flynn and McInerney, frustratingly I'm just 8k short of being able to afford Darcy.

I'm thinking Grundy might be the best option of those I can afford, he should get at least another month or so as the lone Melbourne ruckman and hopefully by the time Gawn returns he will have risen enough in price that I can sideways him to an English or Witts.

I could also trade Doc to Day which would give me enough cash to get English or Witts now, not sure I trust Day to be a regular high scorer though.

Not sure what to do with Worpel

His cash gen has completely stopped and he was lucky to even score 45 on the weekend.

Could risk to hold for another week as he plays the bottom of the ladder Geelong (haha) or drop him to Rowston/Phillips but if i do this then i have to field Baker, Rowston or Phillips

Could also swing worpel back and bring Will Day in

Feel like its all sideways trade crap though
Hawks are going to be annoying with mids this yr I fear, they've rolled CMac fwd a bit and Worpel role is being thrown around.

Looks like they're happy to experiment and give different players exposure so it feels like a bail situation. A Rd3 40 for a midpricer stops all cash gen for Rd 6-7 upgrades

the CBA's from round 1 to round 3 have changed quite dramatically

Newcombe 71 to 52%
Worpel 77 to 57% (54% vs rd 2)
Day increased from 26 to 65%
Nash from 26 to 74%
Mackenzie 52 to 17%...

Newcombe was thrown forward more given we had no KPF but this may continue until Lewis is back (3-4 weeks)

Those CBA's make the Day pick even more juicy, had his worst game when he only had 26% CBA's

Lockiest lock that ever locked. Which makes missing out on him even more upsetting lol

Is it worth getting Oscar Baker in now, go Phillips/Rowston, or just wait for another rookie? (have Callaghan to trade out)
I think I'm going to go Callaghan to Phillips. Trade him now before that first score drops off his price increase

And he still got enough of the footy in round 1, just didn't use it well.

Pretty set on bringing him in, just a matter of whether it's for Ridley and I cop Grundy/Nank, or I risk the Roughying Doch so I can get Witts.

My concern is whether Mitch keeps throwing the magnets around Bevo style and Day could be back to 20% CBAs for a couple of weeks. Really like Day, like the current role but not sure I trust Mitch to leave it unchanged given he's essentially changed every mids role through the first 3 games

Don't know why anyone would trade Docherty. 39 touches and 10 marks, CD killed him. He's far from a butcher normally, so that tells me the role is there, meaning he's still top 6 def.

Structural corrections for those of us who copped the Cameron injury at R2. But otherwise I agree he's not worth sidewaysing/downgrading to someone like Day

Day looked really good on Saturday, but against a North midfield with no LDU or Simpkin. He also has had a tendency to break quite easily in the past couple of years. All these new owners jumping on board are going to kill him for sure.

Buyer beware!:moustache::moustache:

Because the only type of disposals that matter are effective disposals and his DE% is down, as well as his 1%ers.
Yes he's still a premo, and yes he's just out of form.
There's no reason to think he won't bounce back eventually. But when you start with 36 trades, how much average form do you tolerate?
Another average game and we'll be able to pick him up for less than $500k.
Having said all that, I think you still need a compelling proposition to justify selling Docherty, something useful to spend his salary on.
