Thinking 1 week ahead, for people with JZ/Sheez/Chandler/Greene or similar at F5-8 currently, what are your plans if JVR goes well again the week?

It feels a bit early to cash in a slow burning Greene for someone with shaky JS and a high variance scoring role, but the BE will potentially be very low.

I've got Ratagolea and even floating donut Madden. Constable might be the new donut king.

I could grab both Brockman and JVR if I want.

First trade is Cameron to Amartey/Chandler to get some $$

Tossing up the second trade, either
  • Worpel to LDU and keep Jackson
  • Jackson to English/Witts and keep Worpel
Any thoughts?

So hard to gauge Worpel after his role last week. What's his BE? If more than 70 or so, I'd do the Worpel to LDU option. Haven't seen a Freo game yet, so not sure how his role has looked.

Thoughts on Amartey's JS? Bollox SSwans2011 kyri help us out here in Amartey's JS please.

I reckon he's safe at least until Hickey is back. He should be safe then too, because he's a better forward than Hickey and Ladhams. For the time being, he's a better second ruck than McLean, has looked more dangerous up forward, and he has been one of our best players over the last two weeks.

I'd be all over him if he had DPP. I'm not sure he's worth it with all the other cash available up forward, and JVR and Brockman becoming available as downgrades.

What are your thoughts on Day? Do you think he's a safe bet as far as CBAs go? Mitchell seems to like to throw the magnets around, but Day's size makes him a good POD in that midfield. It's either Docherty and Cameron to Day and Witts, or Phillipou and Cameron to Grundy and Rowston for me this week. I think at worst, Day looks like a great D7/M9 come the end of the season.

Thanks for your reply. Given I have Chesser and Constable I may grab Amartey to keep a bit of early cash gen flowing. Will wait for teams before deciding.

I started Will, as I am a big fan. I think he ends up being a very solid midfielder for us. He does tend to break easy, so that is a slight concern. I picked him as a stepping stone/possible keeper in the D7/M9 spot as you suggest. Of course he is $40k more expensive this week, but I believe he will be a major part of our mid rotations this season. It's a much tougher call at $400k now.

In your position, I'm not sure I'd be trading Docherty after 39 possies. Sure his SC score was down, but he will bounce back. So, as much as I like Day I be going the other option.

This lot scored 2,376 last week and saw my ranking rise 26,716 places to 4,343. So, instincts tell me to hold, however I would really like to get one of Phillipou/Wilmot off field.

Last week I got rid of Bruhn and Flanders, so the only ones to trade are probably Chesser or Constable. I have $161k in the bank. Options I'm considering are Amartey, Bowes, and Cole. Not sure any of the one weekers are worth going early on. Any other options I haven't considered?

I can loop Cowan/Wilmot with Chesser, so that helps the defence decisions this week. Not sold Amartey on field in place of Phillipou is really gaining me much is it?

Keep wacko Jacko.

You might be able to get Gawn down the river and put Jacko forward plus ruck cover.

Ah shit, trading in StickMan4000 (as my third R1 for the year already) for a game against Nank in the wet. He's definitely gonna break again lol.

Nearly identical price to when I brought him in last year for an almighty bed-shitting, too (80, 0, 110, 0, 0, 97, 51).

Juicy bank leftover, no?
Any thoughts to boost and spend it now?
$422k. Hopper gets one more chance, otherwise I'll grab the best premo in a week or two after some mooing.

Also, my autocorrect suggests I'm more likely to use the word porno than premo in my day to day life. That's something.
