Who would people prioritise - Chandler or Van Rooyen? I don't like the bubble options available and that 90 will stay with Chandler for a while, plus easy opposition coming up...

Chandler - do you think he can make another $150k? If so no reason not to get him.
JvR - can you wait a week until his bubble? Rookies can often have a great first game then a poor second one.

Thanks man. What do we think of Cole's role in the backline? He's the other one I've tossed around.

Plays too much of a lockdown defender role for me, can spit out very low scores sometimes. Plus we've missed the boat on him now too.

Yep. Waiting for Round 6 to finish, so the SheZeebulls can swing down back. Until then, Mr Will Monty and Mr Cow Man will have to suffice.

You need money, not points. Teams are too similar at the moment, you want cash to upgrade when others cant.

Chandler boat is gone in my opinion. Jumping on now is so risky, as you are putting yourself behind the rest who already have him by not having a point of difference.

Take a risk on someone like Amartey if anything. He looked electric. Buckley to some extent too. If they were rookie priced and not in the 200k range I would be all over them.

Otherwise going early on a JVR or Brock can help get a leg up on the rest by having that one extra trade up your sleeve next week for any other carnage that comes our way.

The cash generation for $200k + players is much slower, and generally, less rewarding. Even if they're scoring more.

Unless you're planning on having them on the field, a $130k rookie is always the better option.

Out of those two its option 1. Wouldn't be trading Setterfield right now given he is averaging over 100.

I considered it, however, couldn't justify trading in a guy who's all but guaranteed to be a trade out in a month's time. With the way this year is going, I just want to prioritise getting the players that I'll need by the end of the year. No more stepping stone midpricers/sub-premos.

But that's just me. Grundy will score well for the next few weeks; however, be cautious, as Gawn always returns from injury earlier than expected.

yeah if Gawn was certain to be out for 5 weeks I’d probably go with Grundy but I’m a bit worried about him pulling a tom Stewart and being back way earlier than expected
