After an atrocious first week I've somehow recovered to top 3000 overall so I'm reasonably happy. Two suspensions have got me in trading mode again though.

What's the go with Macaffer? Looked terrible in his first 2 games and looks like he isn't playing again. Keep or trade? Rowe looks good and secure with Kreuzer out for a while.

Option 1: Ryder - Mcevoy/Jacobs
Option 2: Macaffer - Rowe, Ryder - Franklin/Maric
Option 3: Bench Ryder
Option 4: Kommer - ???, Ryder - Franklin Maric

2. Cox goes to ruck. Rowe will increase in value and stay in the team for a while, grab as FWD rookie. he looks good, also keeps you MPP. Then go Ryder > Franklin.

Risky. Unless you are just going for a quick cash grab and have a solid team. Think you would be better off with just the Roughy/berger trade and pocket some cash.

I would keep goldy and McEvoy as they are both set and forgets.
If you need money, and your forward line is struggling... do the common thing and downgrade an underperforming premium/mid-pricer to mayes/lee/kerridge/rowe, and then maybe upgrade another underperforming forward with this cash.

I dont want to upgrade both rucks so see how bellchambers goes after ryder gets back if he spuds it up get a forward/mid for him say stevieJ and put ruff back in the ruck thoughts.

Yeah i dont know what to make of him either i was on fanfooty round one he was scoring well.Then a little bandaid was next to his name(groin injury) and he stayed more forward after half time.People asked about him on the lions board some posters said hes fine just there mids are not getting as much of the ball so zorko is getting less of it.

Is it worth getting in Rowe for Blicavs this week?

Don't really want to get rid of Blicavs but I want Rowe for his price rise and MPP (Cox forward)

I don't have anyone else in my team thats not playing except Macaffer and I want to keep him this week for the vc loophole and then trade him out next week for Sam Mayes.

Thoughts?

(Still keeping the faith with Swan and Dangerfield for another week too. They both owe me 160 this week )

If you have Cox as forward then definitely worth getting Rowe IMO.

Should play a fair bit this year, price rise and MPP.

Hmm, I wouldn't do it. Your rucks are set for the season, leave them alone unless there is an injury or a major form slump. Find the cash you need elsewhere or wait until your cows mature - otherwise you are just robbing peter to pay paul.

My question, do I bolster my mids with Fyfe or my defenders with Hanley. Fyfe is ultra talented, but will he be a top ten mid? Hanley is scoring more at the moment, but was inconsistent last season - looks great so far, but the sample size is small. Confident he will be a top six or seven defender, but not confident he will bolster me more than Fyfe for a big game this weekend.

Have Fyfe in at the moment , but leaning towards reversing this.

Feedback on Fyfe vs Hanley will be much appreciated.

Kommer > Rowe is good for your MPP.

Yarran > Hutchins or Terlich is another option who has better job security IMO. Both will earn you good cash.

I would probably upgrade a defender next, before a mid. Your mids look good but backline a bit weak.

Get someone like Birchall for one of the Port boys.

Looking to get rid of roughead (hawks) and varcoe and am tossing around a few options... I have cox in my fwd line so I can trade roughy for ruck or fwd...

At the moment I'm thinking westhoff and looney in ruck but have a genuine concern that westhoff will drop off dramatically, not to mention I don't think he'll finish in the top 10 fwd's come seasons end. Other options are JJK or monfries, but have the same concerns there too... Dusty another option?

Alternatively I could also go a premium ruck in mcevoy or goldy, then downgrade varcoe to say Sam Mayes...

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated...

You need to upgrade a few areas so...

Roughead > Leuy
Varcoe > Martin IMO.

2 Would L Brown or Blicavs have better medium JS? [they would be probable upgrades.

1. Cotchin + Stevenson should outscore but depends on O'Meara who has been inconsistent. Your backline is much weaker than mids though so would look to upgrade there first.

LeCras could be a keeper though IMO, and will rise in value, depends on what you are after.

Sinclair will stay in the team until NNat is back, is MPP but won't score that well IMO. Will make cash though.
