Brad Hill will be a major inclusion for this game if he gets up. We've got a tough run of matches coming up over the next month after the Adelaide game.

Round 6: GWS (Spotless Stadium)
Round 7: Richmond (MCG)
Round 8: Fremantle (Aurora Stadium)
Round 9: Sydney (MCG)

That doesn't look too tough to me considering Richmond and Freo should be walks in the park.

I think langers or doc are in the gun
Bang on! Langers is getting a lot of love here and I do like the way he goes about it but he isn't doing enough outside of tackling and isn't really playing well enough to be automatic selection. Doc seems sluggish but not overly concerned on him. Shiels needs to get going this game, head to head with either Brodie Smith or Sloane!

My big issue with Langford last year and so far this year is that he seems to always be trying to beat a player or take a second or third option when he gets the ball. He seems to avoid doing the simple things and look for the spectacular a bit too much. That 2014 Finals series he seemed to just do the instinctive thing and it came off, but since then he seems to be trying a bit too hard.

Having said that, he does seem to be getting the ball and kicking efficiency can be worked on, especially at his age.

Frawley - Tex
Duryea - Betts
Burgoyne - Lynch
Stratton - Jenkins

Gibson left to play on not as dangerous forward and help out other defenders which he does the best in the competition.

Lynch is not an aerial threat just pushes up the ground a lot, Burgoyne to exploit him with run and smarts.

See how Stratt goes on Jenkins, but athleticism to match and receiving help from Gibbo should be fine.

EDIT: Lithers I forgot, he could take Lynch or Betts if needed also. Could free up Burgoyne to be more damaging.

Stratts giving away 11cm or so.. Probably to much of a task! Gibbo the same, both guys are jets but need to be utilised in the right way.

Litherland is no good

That would be brilliant thanks very much mate:thumbsu:

I will be relying on reciprocals so won't have that on line access.

One last question, do kids need their own ticket and what is age cut off?

Thanks again
General admission availability in the following areas of the AFL Reserve:
LEVEL M OPEN
M16-26 ALL

LEVEL P
P25-28 ALL
LEVEL Q
Q15/28 ALL

Looks like all of level 1 is available except for the undercover rows near the back and the Auskick section M27.
Kids 5 and under don't need a ticket.
Over 5 you need a junior guest pass which is pretty cheap but will be more than the $5 they charge for juniors in the public section of the ground.
Pretty sure most gate attendants would be letting in 6 and 7 year olds, it's not like the have id on them.

Can't see Langers getting dropped for Hill when we're currently losing clearances and contested possession counts most weeks - and not for his lack of efforts.

Langers isn't getting the footy enough though, our contested work is pretty poor at the minute. Maybe when Hodgey gets his fitness up to scratch we can use him more, he looked like he was carrying a little last week.

Do you mean this?

That's nothing compared to Mitch who has been carrying the whole team

Out of the young insider mids "not getting hands on the ball" seems to be relatively consistent. I agree that the Clarko mid apprenticeship is typically getting a young mid to tag and apply defensive pressure but how many young mids can you have in a team doing this?

Langers might have more pressure to get the ball now due to being a "not so young" mid - if you catch my drift

signing a 4 year deal recently probably eases any pressure on Langers

I like those changes & that line-up

I would easily back Gibbo to do the job, and think Stratton could also handle Jenkins, allowing Gibbo to roam HB and chop out.
