I think they'll stick with Rampe as the third tall this week and Bird will come in for LRT. That way the coaches keep 7 defenders in the side (they obviously specifically planned for Geelong's cacophonous and multifaceted forward line last week considering they started the game with 8 defenders out of 21 players).

I suspect the Dennis-Lane story will be a bit like Goddard going up against our lads for you guys then? ;)

Boring.

White? Seen it before.
Walsh? Out of his depth.

We should have given Lamb a go.

Agree on this. Lamb will no doubt go end of contract if we don't give him at least a taste. Wouldn't be surprised to see us dangle him for a McCarthy/M. Talia type come year end

We haven't been hurt by many first rounders before (Vez, Johnston) but Lamb would hurt us if we let him go. He's done enough to deserve a chance.

I have a really bad feeling that we are going to drop Morton tonight... I think they will want a player who will be able to come in off the sub bench and make an impact.

Out
Morton
LRT

In
Everitt
Bird

I think Everitt is going to come in tonight simply because 1. he didn't really deserve to be dropped in the first place 2. He offers a bit more height and versatility over the ground which would be important especially with LRT out.

I bet you now, Lamb will play reserves next week, get injured and is out for weeks. It always happens in these situations I swear! Give him a go already!! He's been in the bests every single week for the reserves, what else does he have to do??

He has played well for a long time now he just does not fully take his chances at senior level. If he were to come in for LRT does he take the backline role or the foward line role

Both. He plays the tall utility. Structurally, LRT plays havoc with the heads of opposition coaches. They just don't know what to do about him. I would say that is why White has been selected.

More likely to request a chance for an opportunity to play than us let him go at this rate.

I really want to see him get a few games here and there. Rest Morton for one or two and lamb gets a run. Just so he gets a taste
