I was thinking about trading Williams to Whitfield, I was originally planning on trading Brodie Smith to Whitfield but he just scored a ton.

I won't be able to bring in Whitfield until next week though so that could change again if Williams scores a ton and Smith spuds it up.

To all those too chickenshit to trade in Marshall last week (like me).
We need to break him down fast.
Get aboard.

What do we feel on players like Butters and Parker whose BE are starting to creep up? Given their poor scoring on the weekend should we assume they've capped or do we hold a bit longer? I can't think of any forward rookies to come in. Stack could work for Butters.

I'm holding Butters, up until this 1 bad game he was doing pretty well as an m8 cover (alongside scott who is probably finally back to 100% after his illness in rnd 2). He can still crack 300k in a few weeks and score decently.

As others have said before me Parker copped a knock early and these last 2 scores dont reflect his potential. Another hold for me.

Gibbons is my concern, too low of a floor and his highest score came against the suns which still wasnt impressive. Next week if he hits 50 he will still be cheaper than stack after his first price change. No brainer for me.

And i'm guessing i'm not the only one stuck with balta due to no dpp and no viable forward rookies :'(

Hore was a late in as well but everyone jumping on. Surely if a guy plays so well he keeps his spot??
Problem is our backline is so strong.

Still got Schofield on the sidelines too and based on his GF he would be best 22 in every side in the comp.
Rothman has played 6 hours of footy.

Dimmer said that Stack reminds him of Byron Pickett (who he played with), seems to be universally loved.

Short is injured for 8 weeks, so Houli is probably Stacks only danger.
Didn't Stack play closer to goals in his first match?

I keep going back and forth on to trade or not. I think I might just sit on my hands this week already used 4 trades and might have to wait until the byes to make up ground. My team is under performing but still ranked in the top 17k. Any suggestions?

explain? he has been doing his job both weeks. why drop a player doing his job?

Because he's only filling in. He's not B22.

Lucky to even get the call up in the first place due to Schofield being sick and Duggan hurt. Then the following week Jetta was a late out for his calf.

Agree he hasn't put a foot wrong, we all like him but it's extremely unlikely he retains his position in the side moving forward.

Personally i'd love for him to stay in, but no way am i brave enough to get him in SC.

What's the consensus with Rowan Marshall.

5 games in a row with a tonne next to his name rucking solo (including JLT), Saints have been playing some reasonable footy.

His first real test came against McEvoy who is a decent ruckman and he passed with flying colours, managed 28 hit outs (7 more than he did against the Bombers)

Obviously won't average 114 for the season but as long as he Rucks solo, i see no reason why he can't go 95-100 which would certainly put him in the top 10 forwards.

both have shown they are capable of 80's. anothe oner of those and the cash gen restarts. i really dont think its worth cashing them in unless its for a must have rookie (there arent any this week as far as i'm concerned) or jumping on a bargain priced premo with a low B/E

Brought in Marshall and Hore for Balta via Moore and Petrucelle. Reckon its more important to get those shite fwd rookies off the field rather than to upgrade my backline seeing as the rookies can actually score half decently. Thoughts? r5 team.PNG

You can do Parker -> Stack via DPP (If you have a M/F sitting in your mids)..

if he gets picked this week alongside Jetta then surely its a worth a punt???

For one price rise, perhaps. Personally i don't see it happening. Will require a bit of shuffling in our team.

But even if he's named i'd be worried about him being turfed a game or two later.

Pass for mine, but follow your heart Edmund

Marshall is going to be this years Riley Bonner. What an trade that was.

My body is ready..

haha hardly a fair comparison.

Tiny half back tonned up once.

Holler for a Marshall has been inflating chols for 5 games and is playing a very pivitol role for the Aints.

i'm happy to spend a trade in order to get a forward rookie off the field. i think his work around the ground means he has a floor of around 80 even if he gets smashed in the hit outs. i'll take that over a 40 from Pertrucelle or Parker or Setterfield. (or Telly)

Pick one
Hore, rotham or stack
JS & scoring; ignoring their position

I only want to take one of those three
BTW - i feel a bit defeated going back to the same Hore, who was traded after RD2 o_O

Is Goldstein to Mumford crazy? Instant 200k and then Mumford price increases.
not crazy at all if it allows you to upgrade to another premo elsewhere.
also the Mumford price increase will come in handy when he gets injured/suspended and you have to trade him out again.

Only because you kicked her out and now your crawling your way back to her.
When you trade her back in bring flowers :hibiscus: and chocolate :doughnut:.:moustache:

Been toying with this exact same thing.

It's risky as **** if you don't have ruck coverage though, Mumford notorious for a soft tissue, either straining it or punching someone elses.
