Ditto. I was surprised Berry finished with only 17 touches, but I thought he had a big influence on the game given that.
Hugh could have sneaked in to my list but he just missed the chances he has been gobbling up so far this year.

We had 16k there last year in round 5 when we were 0-4. I think 18-20 is a reasonable guess.

Reasonable game. Got some good handball chains going. Considering how tight the first half was though, GC just gave up in the second. Turned very quickly from a tussle to a training drill. Not with a bang, but a whimper.

What about Cutler's tackle where he even got a free kick , last quarter I think . He laid a couple of others as well . Remember it vivdly. Who takes the stats ?
Hoping the club can put Mitch's award and speech on their website, would love to see it. So pleased for him as he doesn't get too many accolades awarded to him.....and he deserves every one that he does get. In fact, I think we'd be in the poo without him tbh.
Yep, Cuts laid a great tackle and was rewarded with a HTB decision in his favour.
Stats person must've missed it or given it to Jarrod Berry.
He wasn't a star on the day but I liked Taylor's game, haven't look at the stats, I'm not a big stats man I like to go by the feel and the eye and to my eye he added something we've been lacking the last 2 weeks ie. link up play and gut running.

I was the same with Cutler; took him a bit to get into the game, but added a fair bit of run and link up play in the second half.
Both of them will be much better for the run.
And for those doubting Ryan Lester's inclusion, I think it was there for all to see how durable and reliable he is, without necessarily standing out despite being very good in a number of contests.

We know he can do that though. It's more about improving his ball use, contested work and defensive side. Even if we don't drop him for Basti or Bundy the kids will overtake him soon
1st week of junior footy. 1.45pm game at a ground that is a pain in the arse to get to with the sun in your eyes the whole game.
Don't know about that, I reckon those lids are flying around again, but going the back roads just atm. Will hit the main streets after a few more games.
Taylor is very valuable for his dash and link up work. We have missed that sort of player the last couple of games. He'll be around for a while yet.
