Butler got us going imo.
Back to his best of crumbing the footy at full tilt. He’s so exciting to watch when he’s going. I also think he is our barometer, when butler plays well, so do the saints.

Hill was everywhere, wood, Sinclair, elite.
Hunter Clark is looking more and more at home at the level on the ball.

Ordinary first half - didn’t look switched on, lethargic & not working hard enough. Smashed in clearances.

Q3 intensity through the roof, Hill working incredibly hard & more physical than I have ever seen plus Sinclair in the middle a game changer.

RTB no doubt some good positional changes and some home truths at half time.

Lets remember they had some serious injury issues which hampered them (but so have we and we managed to win!).

I know we overran them but I still reckon we looked a bit tired after a tough Collingwood game. 5 day break a huge test!

We are definitely relevant again!!! Terribly hard decision for Ratts but the right decision.

I remember watching Ross in the media last year and he talked about teams needing to have a system that doesn't just rely on pressure because in his words that wasn't sustainable for 22 rounds .

Tonight was what that looked like. The boys were a little off in the first half but our system stood up .

Lyon's presser was good, one of the journo's saying we had a soft start to the season but stiffer competition in the last two weeks and Lyon biting back noting Freo and Footscray both played finals last year and the Don's are one of the form teams at the moment - but if the journo didn't rate those clubs that was up to him, hahaha

Unbelievable someone would have a take Pou out of gas. His work today was exceptional.
Ross loves Cordy, mentioned him three times in the presser, as well as Gres and Higgins.

If anyone is questioning why Cordie is in the team just go and watch that 3rd Quarter again.

He's not perfect, he's not the future but he competes competes competes. I can see why Ross loves him.

He had a crack but if we want to bring in Billings I reckon he’s in the top 3 to make way. Owens spending time in the ruck the past fortnight makes Cordy expendable IMO.
