Hey guys, with Mummy coming back next week - I'm thinking of copping a donut this week if Currie doesn't play.

I have $72K in the bank, and looking to get 2 'bubble' players? in OR 1 bubble & 1 fallen premium?

I still have Daisy Thomas in my team - any upside in keeping him? Am thinking of downgrading either Daisy or X.Ellis > Robertson and gaining some cash.

I will then be in a position to upgrade either Tyson/Daisy or X.Ellis > to a fallen premium ie; Griffen?

Another option, is upgrade Impey to David Hale (so then that will give me Ruck cover via Thurlow?)

Or would you suggest something different to the above? All advice is welcome :thumbsu: Thanx guys

Im in the same predicament mate.
Got Mummy and Currie both out. And got Impey, JKH and Lloyd starting forwards but one good thing is I have 328,800 in the kitty

Was thinking copping donut with Mummy and either trading Impey/JKH and or Ellis
That's bloody Supercoach for ya decisions decisions

Any feedback welcome

I notice a lot of people picking up Swan when they already have Pendles/Beams in their mids - Is this wise?

Haven't seen one person jumping on the Stevie J train whos in some red hot form!

Ellis > Lloyd
Tyson > Steve J

Is bias clouding my vision here?

its only not wise for one round. ive picked up swan and have pendles and beams, round 8 will suck but im just going to cope it. swan is to good to refuse at his price + hes coming into form.

Gonna double downgrade to build a chest for next week,

Option 1:
Titchell ----> Lloyd
Tyson -----> Crouch Leaves $479,700

Option 2:
Titchell -----> Lloyd
Tyson ------> Robertson Leaves $549,000

Wondering if its worth spending the extra $70g for Crouch or is Robertson a safe enough bet to make him nearly as worthwhile? havnt seen enough of him to make an informed decision TBH...

Personally, I'm leaning towards bring in Crouch over Robertson - mainly because I want to play him on field and think 80-100 is reasonable from him based on form and Crows personnel.

Yeah i was leaning that way, seems like a small price to pay for peace of mind :)

Crunching the numbers of what I believe them to average from here on, they should make about the same even though Crouch has had his first price rise (which was sub influenced). But in terms of points they can actually give you on ground think its an easy choice. But does add some more Rd 8 pain I'm afraid.

I am still contemplating whether I want Crouch or Fasolo... but think Crouch is too good to miss again (kicking myself I did not bring him in last week, very silly of me...)

ok so i've settled on
Rohan > Lloyd - no brainer
and
Ellis > M.Murphy - couldnt decide whether to trade out Dunstan or Tyson so i've kept them both. im not really sold on the idea of Murphy being a permanent mid but thought i'd roll the dice and hope for the best. if he spuds it up or gets injured this week then i quit

Why's everyone trading out Ellis when he's not dropping in value?

Why wouldn't you trade him this week if you need money? He's not dropping money this week but he'll drop money next week, what's the difference? The only reason I'm keeping him this week is if I need him for my captain loophole.

It also allows me to Loophole Dunstan/Crouch with Ellis donut but I have to start Lloyd. Just can't decide whether it's a better move to trade out Tyson instead of Dunstan. I'm sure I will pick the wrong one.

Same same. Been leaning towards moving on Dunstan. He's got a 140+ rolling off his average and I feel like Tyson is more important to Melbourne's midfield than Dunstan is to the Saints at full strength. He'll doubtless prove me wrong tho.

Anyways, how does this look lads?

I find your lack of Dangerfield ... disturbing.

Because he's not picked so you can put it off for a week, slaughter another cow and use Ellis as an emerg loophole this week.

I spose it was a catch 22, i brought in Fasolo at the expense of Crouch last week...
As for round 8... im just refusing to acknowledge its existence at this point in time.

Mate, its the right call. I hesitated to bring all of Lloyd/Fasolo/Crouch in because of Rd 8, and I'll now have to wear that. Yes you have one round of pain (hopefully can still cover all the spots though, very doable) but they are the absolute correct investments.
I won't soon let myself make mistake again.

Cutler is the defensive equivilant of Lloyd without the rnd 8 bye

I'm hoping that Langdon will be sub. With his round 8 bye I'd love to trade him out this week. Still might trade him out anyway, regardless of price movement, there's good upside in keeping Dunstan/Tyson with their round 10 byes and superior ppg.
