hold...other good rookies will be coming in the next few weeks, all your rooks r still mooing.
If Fish or Balic go big you can still bring them in later.
More important for you to et points now as you have plenty of cash generators

Thoughts on this? 1st trade locked. Spencer > Balic with Nank back to rucks.

Second is just a impulse decision. More putting it out there for people thoughts on Dyl. Are GWS mids just too risky to go because of how good their side is? One week a different one will go huge. Could be Scully or Kelly or Ward. Selwood just looks too good to pass up now. Their run is taaaasty with the Pies, Gold Coast and Essendon next three, with the next three after that at Simonds (albeit against the Dogs, Crows and Port) in there until a rd12 bye (ideal AF)

I know it sideways just want the thoughts on Shiel. May have got it wrong (has looked okay, just not ya top8-10 mid)

EDIT: God Jelwood loves Simonds. Avg'd 125 there last year. 1000 points in 8 games. Outrageous

Shiel is a very negative POD for you at the minute that you need to correct. Makes sense to me.

His bye is a pain and had a look at his numbers from last year and really not sure on him. On potential yes, but is this the year?
I would stat away from Wingard. At most he is only going to spend 20% of time in the midfield. Plus he is never going to be type who is going to win contested ball in the midfield.

Plus I doubt he will finish in the top 10 scoring forwards by the end of the season.

If he averages 100 from here on then screw the top 10 forwards (as his first 4 rounds were terrible)

If he keeps spending time in the middle and keeps going 95+ until his bye, he'll still be at a juicy price

Do it.

Selwood and Bont are still priced ok but not far from their max.
Hanners is too cheap to pass up.
In your position though you don't need to grab every fallen premo, us plebs need to lock in someone like Hanners at his price. Still its to early to worry about getting full premo asap. Do that during the byes and you'll give yourself a leg up on the others. For now cash the cash to make that happen.

So SPS to Balic is good for your overall cash gen, can't see SPS knocking out a big score against Sydney so he's just bumming a spot in your side.
If that 300k can be spent on a Hanners or a proven SP mid like Bont or Jelwood who are looking like must haves then do it.

Just keep in mind your trades for next week.
You would want to grab 2 rookies on the bubble next week to keep making that cash.

Going with the long term view that spot must go to Selwood who is looking irresistible. A few blokes don't expect him to go well against Greenwood this week however having him as a double act with Danger is hard to ignore now. Almost a guaranteed 250 every week.

Next week a double downgrade is excellent advice with Black/Parsons types looking solid - and the week after Pendles will be an absolute must have considering how cheap he will become so I don't think I will have a spot for Bont until an injury occurs.

Think I will wait until Saturday morning before making those trades since none of them are playing Friday night.

Thanks for your advice. How is your trade situation looking?

Having to ditch SPS this week as SPP is still worthless, bringing in Fisher
Then Swallow gets upgraded to Duncan or Heppell, will decide tomorrow I guess. Leaning towards Duncan, seems consistent this year

I think I've settled on this...

Pickett > Fisher - Fisher should make more $ in a week than Pickett has all season
Roughead > Kennedy - been waiting for Roughy to come good but had enough, think Kennedy will bounce back with a few big games and he's pretty cheap atm

I fall for him nearly every year, looks so hot when he's on.

Is this the week to ditch D. Swallow?
I am holding, but they have said that this is a part of his recovery.

I expect him to be rested in RD 6, 12 and 18. I am keeping him as the 11/12/13 bye coverage, but he will probably be out right in the middle causing a bit of a headache.

I can see reasons for either keeping/ditching him...but if you want to move players elsewhere, it could be good to get him out now

Im struggling to generate cash, Florent, Pickett and Eddy have stuffed me so I think i need to double up on Fisher and Balic, Drop 2 of Swallow, Picket, Florent, Eddy. I just don't know which way to go. I still have 28 trades.

Can't quite decide what to do; thinking Swallow > Fisher might be a solid option to generate some cash and get the extra player in the mids with Murphy being a bit questionable.

Could upgrade a Marchbank or a WHE with the ~$300k extra that gives me, but am I better to hold that trade for another week or two while they still have a little more cash growth in them?

Just WHE for Balic

Tempted to move on Butler as well as believe there's not much left with hin but his BE is only 30. Will stick with him another week.
give Butler another week
if only because you're going to need someone to trade out for Parsons
