I wish he would come out to play, that's for sure. Always remember that day he scored 194 he was just coasting along in the first half doing nothing special, then bang, 4 goals in the second half and took the game by the scruff of the neck and dragged his rabble of a club over the line. I wouldn’t beat yourself up over that. It’s always painful when players spud it up on the first week they’re in your team but Titchell should still be a solid trade in at a fair price, not an actual mistake.

Anyone who didn’t trade Brayshaw in in R3 dodged a massive bullet (I admit I gave him some serious consideration).

Having dodged that bullet you’d want a very compelling reason to look at him again I reckon.

But instead of a compelling reason to get him in all we’ve got is the new info that he can be blanked out if games when the opposition put some attention into him.

I started him, so not as bad I guess. I’m not writing him off just yet. Every good mid needs to learn how to cope with a tag. Some are better at it than others. Hoping he will come good. Trying to convince myself! Haha!

I made a scoring distribution curve for 2019. Or it might have been 2018 and 2019. I then fitted the scores from 2020 onto the curve using the excel poly formula, with a bit of manual adjusting at the top and bottom. So it wasn’t fully proper maths but I think it achieved the aim. Whether that’s a good methodology is another question I suppose.

OK, gotcha, so basically seeing how the normal distribution changed.
What I meant was that the top premos in general had higher relative TOG.
For Neale, that covered a little north of 40% of the bump last year if you accept the premise. That sort of thing.
