danger and clark out
dunkley and witherden in.

missing out on l.jones but you cant have them all i guess? unless clark plays and i hold off changing him to witherden and go highmore to jones instead?
Dunkley not value, would wait til Withers on bubble. Get Jones.

Jones out would cause absolute chaos for my team.

Ridley out, Clark dead, Highmore MIA.

Would have to go early on Macrae and upgrade Clark :(

Clark will come in for Danger

Highmore will come in for their abundance of shitters

(Kozi will hold his spot)

I have faith

Thinking of a double down grade to build up a bank for an up and down next week.
So that means 3 rookies needed to bring in:
1. L.Jones
2. hopefully F. Macrae

but not sure on 3. McCreery is one option but are there any other possible rookies worth bringing in next week and then I will go early on Macrae?

Hope that's right. They seemed pretty adamant. One even said he's having surgery tomorrow.

If true we will hear about it shortly.
If true I'll just wear the donut. Could go Parks>Mansell, but it seems a waste of a trade for what might only be about 40 points.

Yep it's definitely a risk, and I may still have to trade if that 3-4 weeks gets pushed back.

As I said I might end up sideway's him to someone but this week I don't like the options so will stay the course.

When May or Heeney bottom out it's a better trade.

It might back fire on me but trades are gold, there are a lot of coaches that have forgotten this imo and are going to be out of trades and eating donuts with 4/5 rounds to go. Trading Ridley for example.

Nope. Haven't forgotten. I've used 2 each week! Love em! :tongueoutv1:

Thoughts on Mitch Lewis? Averaging 79, back from suspension this week. Costs just under $200k so basically an expensive rookie. 100% best 22. If he averages 70 he would be a nice win and should moo by the byes (has early bye so not ideal).

Looking at alternative trade-in targets, for Jones with this rumor he's booked for surgery.

Some bloke on the Port board said that it's confirmed he's going in for surgery.

Port is usually good with info aren't they? If it's true, we'll hear about it today or tomorrow I reckon.

Back to the drawing board...
I just watched the replay then. Was running fine in the last qtr. It's either absolute bs or he is one tough kent.

Is he 100% best 22? Kosi, TOB, Gunston returning etc etc.

I'm very desperate for Jordan Clark to get a game this week. Issue with being the sub and not featuring, is that you didn't get an opportunity to show what you can do, so he might be going straight into the VFL. FFS wish Danger just came off at half time and Clark had a good 2nd half

Where there's smoke there's fire, so I'm believing the L.Jones rumours at this stage

SC Gods at it again lol

Jones is in 27% of teams

they be like "wait, he's only played 2 games, why is he in so many teams, time to shake things up and teach them a lesson"

NEK MINNIT

RIP ANKLE

If ya had the cash, not saying I do, and had Cripps, not saying I do either, would you upgrade him to Macrae now? or give him a second-second-second chance?

Cripps has been looking better every week, think he'll prove to be a fine option for M6-8 for the rest of the season so not a massive fan of punting him, but depends on your team.

Cripps > Macrae might be worth 20 points a round for 150k so the math checks out on the low end of being an 'ok' trade imo, but my focus right now would be the larger point gains from going rookie > keeper rather than corrections.

Rookies (Jones)
Spuds with a lucky scoring run (Tex 3 weeks ago)
Discounted premos due to injury or temporary role change (Ziebell)
One-off dud scores due to KO etc (Ridley, Daniel, Cerra in coming rounds)

More importantly, who is not value? Contentious, but consider a rookie who you don't want on field and won't make enough to bother downgrading (McCreery). Increases your "team value" but does not currently contribute SC points.

OK

I'm looking to bring Jones in.

I missed the Tex boat and don't see anyone else going on a scoring run.

Have JZ and Impey and they're doing their job.

Held Helmet.

I traded in Butters and Cerra as value picks but they both broke on me. Am looking to be in a position to bring in Ridley.

My hand is forced this week with Howe and Cerra. Even if I had cover I don't trust that they will be fully fit for much longer than the 4 weeks or so they will be out.

I'm trying to stem the points bleed and also to be in a position to cull the likes of LDU, Stepho (watching Heeney keenly) when I can.

I'm not sure what you don't like about Dunkley. He's only going to get more expensive from what I can see and looks like he'll be a top 5 SC scorer this year.

Can you suggest a better trade in?

At least we'll know on Friday night if Clark is back in and what Sydney rooks are given some time off.

Silver linings <3
Yep!
If Clark plays I'll be good, if he isn't named, it'll be stressed af

It does seem like there are a lot of injuries this season.

It probably shouldn't even be a surprise since we're coming off a year where players got used to 20% less game time and now back to 120+ minute games with 15 fewer bench rotations and every team playing run & gun with the crazy new rule changes. Last season also ended a month later than usual so a shorter break between seasons. All of that with smaller list sizes this year. Teams are going to run out of fit players and we're going to need more trades.
