Buckley OUT!

The club needs to grow a pair and make a call now instead of stringing it out for the rest of the year.

Korda doesn't have a pair.

If he did, he would have taken action against McGuire over the Allan/Balme fiasco, instead of waiting for some out of context comments at a press conference.

Q1
  • Suns won’t pressure like better teams = good flow.
  • Zero crowd energy
  • Flip side to their lack of pressure is they’ll move it well too.
  • Whoever’s more efficient wins. Bad for us.
  • JT lazy v Powell who marks moves it on 15 up field then runs for overlap. Amazingly JT trails him in and out.
  • No pressure on WHE who spots up Mihocek. So much time it was harder to stuff it up than pull it off.
  • 17 mins in efficiency 80% v 83% pressure index must be abysmal.
  • Bad 30 seconds from Macrae. Drops a pud in the guts leading to an I50 and 4 possessions later he receives it again from Crisp (both times) then promptly turns it over. Probably still thinking about the dropped mark.
  • Where’s the goalkeeper on the Rankine bounce goal? Horrible stoppage structure. Deepest player Keane.
Q2
  • Does Darcy Moore the forward get involved enough to have 5 SOG weekly. He seems a very mark orientated KPF.
  • WHE not tackling in centre square contest leads to King goal.
  • Macrae drops another unpressured mark. SOG against the result. Marked on the line by Cameron. Don’t know what to say.
  • Moore drops a pud. Goal to Swallow the result.
  • Not a fan of Buckley, but the last 5 mins is not a reflection on him. Confidence or concentration?
  • Young/ fringe guys not doing much. Only one outperforming his standard is Brown and he’s not exactly lighting it up...
  • Grundy having a mare with turnovers and fumbles. McReery already an elite pressure forward building block.
  • Chain of possession with overlap run and forward handball results in Corbett SOG is something we just aren’t capable of.
Q3
  • Keane has campaigner about him. Persist.
  • Moore has a different mindset forward v back.
  • Suns win a clearance and the balls streaming forward. JDG is sooking at umpires sums him up.
  • Such an uninspiring match. I don’t know where too from here even if we win.
Q4
  • Poulter showing a bit.
  • Corbett goal ends it 7 mins into the last...
  • Sums it up. Suns miss a target and there’s 4 pies there. It ends in a stoppage.
On to next week.

Now that the season is over (not that it wasn’t before), we might as well keep Moore forward for a few more weeks to see if he can turn it around.

We already know he can play down back.

Yes we are missing a few, but our 3 highest paid players wore the jumper today. Moore, Grundy, JDG. Didn’t fire a shot.

Our list is in pieces and the people have overseen that are still in charge of it.

Outside of Pendlebury today, who showed leadership? Murphy did. Anyone else?
MCreery ran bloody hard today.

Brody Mihocek was outstanding.

The players dont want him any more or at least the message doesnt sink in.
The voice i now voiceless.

The club needs a clean slate.
You get an automatic bounce from players when there's a different voice and a freshness of change.

We have good players who arent producing. Sure the list has holes but the good players that we have cant have regressed this much......

I want to see what someone else can do.

The Nathan Buckley show is over.
He cannot be allowed to go on.

I'm not even gonna comment on the coach, if you think we lost today because of poor coaching or strategy then you're blind.

That was one of the more gutless performances I've seen from a playing group in my 31 years of supporting this club. No try, want or semblance of ever wanting to be out there all day.

Darcy Moore, we know you're a back, you're playing forward and that was like watching a 13 y.o. chucking a tantrum today the way he went about it. Mihochek wins the ball on the wing, Moores man leaves him so all he has to do is sprint forward and he's having a shot on goal. He jogged the entire time.

Give Buckley 2 years, tell the playing group if they don't like it, they can f*** right off.
