Pretty happy with it too.

Made a couple of bad VC/C choices and rookie on ground decisions.

Worked out that I would be in the top 10 if I hadn't stuffed all those things up!

Oh well 65 overall is nothing to sneeze at and plenty of time to get back up to where I was in the top 20 again.

Bad luck on the loophole decisions bud. I know you were concerned with a potential Murray donut. Coffield was a letdown. You made the right call based on your fears, just unlucky.

Big picture though, you’ve somehow managed to avoid ALOT of the carnage so consider yourself lucky in that respect. Moving forward, just trust your gut re any moves/trades and ignore the noise that would otherwise make you question your initial decisions. It’s what has got you to this point. Best of luck for the rest of the season bud!

Yeah I'm looking at Howe & Hibberd for upgrades next week, both have nice, low prices.

Harris Andrews is another that is flying under the radar.

He used to be a solid SCer like 5 years ago, but he's had a massive start to the year

I'd grab Howe this week to be honest if you're going to get him, breakeven of 46

Can I ask why you're getting rid of Bont? The guys not even playing well and still averaging 6 points more than either of those guys you're bringing in, he kicks those two goals he missed last week and he probably ups his average to 105. Just don't see the upside in it unless you're swinging Taranto forward, but neither Phillips and Taranto are keepers in the midfield and you'll either have a lackluster Phillips at M8 or have to waste another trade upgrading him later. Taranto is a good option if you plan to swing him forward as I think he has the potential to be a top 6-8 forward

tough for me this week. Double upgrade, Murray to Sicily(basically locked) and Omera to.... someone. basically narrowed it down to dustbin/danger and Neale with Neale being the smarter choice.. Which will leave me with Parker and Telly as m7/m8 and most of my war fund gone. next week double downgrade on non playing rooks. Leaves my Studley rooks Telly/Finmayscoralot/doodwheresmycar playing with a Rook at f6

This game is full of woulda, coulda and shouldas. It's really a coin toss, 50/50 decision with playing rookies on the ground over your other rookies, VC/C choices, etc.

For example with English he was scoring 70's the last few weeks and coming up against Phillips (he ain't no Kruezer)

Thought English would at least score in the 70's again but shits the bed and scores 44. LOL!

Could have played Higgins over him via loophole to gather 28 points but oh well you win some you lose some.

Everyone had Holman on the ground so not really too upset there.

You're right about the Naughton/Cofffield situation. Was fearful that Murray wouldn't play so played it safe leaving Naughton on the bench as emergency. Murray plays (but looked like he needed a rest anyways) and Coffield shits the bed. Another 50/50 decision there.

I reckon the choices you get wrong with rookies and VC/C's balances out in the end so if I start nailing them now with the knowledge I have from my wrong decisions these last few weeks then hopefully I will start to get a lot more right.

See it the same way in overall terms, concerned about the possibility of closer attention at the business end of the season when we can ill afford it.
Will be interesting to see at the end of the season where he ends up in scoring.

Does anyone use the SC website with chrome / internet explorer?
When I apply filters to players in the stats section, they aren't applied.
Doing my head in, tried everything and it's showing that filters are active without the filters themselves actually kicking in.
