Have to agree, he wasn't good by any stretch today but we need to be pumping games into him otherwise we're just falling back into the same cycle we went through with him last year.

The forward line absolutely sucks. It’s essentially a ruckman trying to pretend to be a forward, a second year forward coming off a serious injury in his first year, a failed midfielder turned into a half forward. Throw in a slow, ship turning midfielder who can’t impact in the middle so he’s thrown up forward.

It’s a joke. Sturt has to have protection, and he gets none

That’s what I said. He played well today.

The previous 6 weeks he’s been a liability. Trying to block when he should go for the ball, losing his man, not chasing or sprinting hard. Just jogging around, floating contest to contest and not having any impact - hence my comment he appeared a character from my little pony PREVIoUSLY.

Today he was good. Today is the minimum I expect of him as a 29 year old senior player.

If he continues in todays form, he remains in the squad. I still don’t think he helps the centre clearance mix. He’s too slow.

Have to reward Worners form for peel I think and give him a debut.

Would be tempted to bring Fyfe straight back and play him in the midfield although I know it won’t happen.

Helps if you kick 2 goals from set shots on a half forward flank. I have no issues if he does that again next round vs his former club

Agree i thought JOM in the first three quarters was good
Brodie as much as i like his attack on the ball is a below average kick and lacks break away pace(to be blunt there has got to be a reason he didn`t succeed at GC) Cant play any other position but then again maybe might be better than BB as a high HF but we will never know as the coach does not like to try change

And be back in the team as a mainstay for another 3 games until he’s too bad to ignore again.
