All the hysterics from the swans about booing Franklin suggests it hit a nerve and therefore may have somewhat put them off. Making a song and dance about it increases the chances of it continuing. Swans would have been much better saying nothing.
Have the Swans made a song and dance about it? Seems to be media driven rubbish to me. There mustn't be any other issues in the AFL at the moment, as booing seems to be the media's big issue of the hour. Longmire gave a pretty nothing answer to a question about it. Have they said anything else.

And Ben Reid - All Australian Premiership Hero and best swing man since Teddy Whitten every year
You do know that swingman means playing multiple positions? It doesn't mean playing no positions because your limbs are swinging around - hanging by the barest thread of non-torn ligament.

Don't know if it's been mentioned already in the thread, but I knew we would win when comparing the melees that occurred after Clarke's goal and then our reply from WHE.

When they targeted Naicos, every Collingwood player in the vicinity immediately stood up for him and let the Swans know we had his back. When half a dozen Pies players got stuck into Clarke a couple of minutes later, nobody from the Swans came in to help him out. Bloods culture? Pfft.

So Bucks the Media slave who conforms to what is all right in life, is ok for Daicos to get assaulted by senior Swans players before a game even starts but gets on his high horse for booing, the booing I would think is for a few reasons, one Daicos getting assaulted at the start the other is for Franklin being a well known sniper and dirty player at best.

Sorry FU Bucks get your narrative right mate.

Interesting vision on First Crack last night showing ND moving off his tagger at stoppage, and picking up another player, leaving the tagger stranded and undecided about what to do next.
Invariably ND got clear and a possession by the time the tagger reacted.

just another reason to thank sydney. the best practice is game-day

100% it derailed the club for years and maybe doomed Bucks from the start
Don't really agree. If you remember that year, we were bloody awful. WCE had made the granny with a zone defence, we tried to copy and came out with a half-baked shambles of a defence that just got walked through.

People need to get over it

For as long as I can remember, supporters from all clubs have booed 2 categories of player:

1) Champions who have tormented their side for years
2) Players who they believe are complete and utter flogs

Sometimes it's even a combination of the two

If anything, a player getting booed should take it as a compliment as it means they're relevant enough to waste that kind of energy on

Or...

We pick a player every week and boo him.
No reason why, we just boo one player.

The media will be so confused. The AFL won't know what to do to stop it.
Eventually, it will appear on Sporstbet, with odds on which player the Collingwood supporter boo this week.

The AFL will be torn between wanting it because of betting, and wanting to stamp it out.

Funny.

This week, lets boo Josh Kelly (number 22).

::)
You know what would be even funnier? The next time we play Sydney in Melb, we boo Longmire every time he gets out on the field.

His team’s supporters booed an injured player sitting on the interchange bench last year. You were going to get booed back. Buddy and Papley are your floggiest players and therefore the most booworthy.

The moral of the story; people who live in flog houses shouldn’t throw boos.

Love my Club. Good win. Not pretty but when it mattered we stood up.

And to the Ch 7 morons…..get stuffed you biased commentators.

My God Daisy Pearce and Nate Jones were horrid yesterday.

May as well have been sitting in the Sydney cheer squad. It was sickening to listen to.

Jeez we looked much better at times out of the centre with Cox in the ruck. Our mids could actually get on the move and break from the clearances with more potency.

Mitchell, Ginnivan, Quaynor, Moore and Johnny Noble were all excellent again. And Brody got reward for effort today with his 5 goal bag.

And LOL at Sydney for going after Nick straight from the jump. Did they actually think that was going to work?

The best bit was when all their 'tough' guys were nowhere to be seen with the game on the line in the last quarter. Meanwhile Nick.D goes into the guts and has 10 touches and influences the game.

What a pack of ****in flogs Sydney are, from their CEO cry baby Harley, to sooky la la Longmire to the entire squad who are scared of their own shadow.
