From memory it didn't work out all that well for J_M when he did the original one, but in principle there's nothing wrong with it. You should always trade in the best possible option for your team. The fact you may have previously traded out that player is irrelevant to everything but your pride.

Think I'm gong to put him in my mids this week. More flexibility there if he's a late out. Hopefully they just don't name him to start with, but given he's not playing until Sunday, no doubt they'll give him every chance to prove his fitness.
