Round 8 Trades

Dogs looked good on the weekend so hopefully they keep the same structure for awhile which means Dunkley at 479k looks very juicy. Problem is next weeks crop of rookies coming through look really bad so if you 1 up 1 down this week could leave you exposed next week if no bank, but also the double down has issues as this weeks crop all have JS or scoring issues. Hately looks good but I suspect he wont be maxed out or even playing during the byes so the risk of Krispies then is real. Answerth probably the pick of them.

Prob going Drew/Petru out for Dunkley/Answerth, if Setterfield does not play I will trade Gibbons instead of Petru as I need Danger insurance.

This year especially you need to find the value.
Setters was good in the VFL yesterday. After their performance yesterday I'll be surprised if he doesn't come back in.

thinking of moving Lycett on. Started with him for extra ruck cover/flexibility but his scores are putrid. Of course chances are if I do move him on I will need the cover, but that's risk to take.

Options are:
Westhoff - keeps cover and seems to be playing a better role - but will this continue?
Dunkly - bigger upside but only if stays in mids - will this continue?

or pay top $ for Cameron or Boak?

Which one of these three would you hold....?
Rockliff
BCrouch
Walsh

I don't think any of you should be allowed to trade Dunkley back in now that he's scoring. It's not fair. I've had to carry the shmuck whilst he's bleeding cash and stinking up my forward line, it's only reasonable that I get some sort of advantage now that he's woken up. :p

Interested in this too.. moving on one of Walsh or Rocky for Neale next week..

Would usually suggest holding Walsh, but Neale looks like a must have and might be the only way I get him

Doesn't matter now. No early games so team are finalised before the first game anyway.

Yep,
But GWS play away Hatley could thier travelling emg.

Wonder when GWS NEAFlol game is .

A Hatley late in would be a SC killer.

Only a matter of time before he gets moved again. I held him but I wouldn’t be rushing to bring him in.

I don't think his scoring was that bad.

Been better than Devon.
Better than billings last year.
Still around 90 when played forward .

Is Rockliff not a keeper?

I would just hold him till the byes. Probably will bank a few tons till then. Good m9 cover at worse. Just focus on getting rid of playing rookies and worry about these meh players till the byes. Doing this sideways now will just delay our full team/

I went Williams to Whitfield in round 5. That has given me Third-degree burns. So I am not trading libba/rockcliff till the byes.

Hai_Newman , Here2tellyouwhy and other WC supporters: Did Sheed play more in the middle on the weekend? His stats would suggest so. I didn't see any of the game.
Not really. Played the high half forward role with the occasional run on the ball. I would guess he probably played around 25% in the midfield. The two goals he scored flatters his score a bit.

He did find plenty of the ball but butchered it most of the time.

I am holding him for the moment as West Coast have an easy run over the next few weeks and I have bigger issues in my team to fix.

That makes sense except both Rocky and Libba have the R12 Bye. Trading them at the byes means you will trade them to players that will have a bye in the next two weeks after them. I am unsure what to do. I was sort of hoping that B.Crouch, Rocky, Libba, Brayshaw would end up my M5-M8. I will look at upgrading 1 to either Fyfe or Pendles now but whichever one I choose with score great as soon as I trade them out.

Which one goes ? .Crouch, Rocky, Libba, Brayshaw.

We played Gold Coast mate. Not much has changed. Pretty sure Sheed didn't lay a tackle either.
Simmo won't put him on ball full time
