It's so common now for supporters to rationalize dog sh1t form, as the player being injured .....the reality with Billings is, irrespective of role, he's been a LAZY player, only looking for the easy ball ......he's a classic downhill skier !

Top 5 in distance covered for Saints each week this yr.

Plenty of words but not lazy

He's soft as shit.

Just jogs behind packs looking for cheap junk...sadly Gresham is better at it

Like I said, plenty of words and not many kind.

But if you’re covering more distance than the mids lazy is not one of them.

I’d hate to be a small fwd at the Saints this yr with their ball movement

Yeah it's terrible.

Their kicking for goal is abhorrent too. Ping Billings

Nothing to do with SuperCoach, but Angus Brayshaw on the AFL Exchange podcast is great. Articulate, open, good fella to boot it seems.

I was 50/50 between Yeo and Hurley to bring in last week, luckily i opted for Yeo, was also 50/50 on Spargo and Ronke and got that one wrong but 1 out of 2 aint bad. To quote the great Drake, 'oh well guess you lose some you win some, aslong as the outcome is income'

Also to Stkilda fans or anyone who's seen the last saints game what is actually going on with Billings? surely hes injured ? is he playing a different role or is he just in genuinely dog sh1t form? i just remember watching his round 1 game vs the lions and thinking he was going to be the top scoring forward for the year.

JB is a kid who relies heavily on players up the field. Disregarding his shit goal kicking efficiency for a second, he is a finisher type. He's not the kind of player who will turn the tide for a team but he can cause havoc if he can get on the end of it.

As has been said, he is covering the kms. He is getting as much of the ball if not more than he did last year. It's just that he has butchered the feck out of it. Symptomatic of the team, he has lost all confidence.

The way the ball has been coming in to the fwd line has been shithouse and hasn't really given him a chance either. I'm not making excuses coz he should be a leader but i reckon he is a bit lost at the moment.

I can't help to think he will come good, hence why he is still in my team, tho that is likely to change this week. I'm not sure i can hold him any longer. All it will take is a 2 or 3 goal quarter and he will be away. Problem is right now the entire team isn't scoring 2 or 3 goals a game!

:p Same as Motlop at Geelong last year ........goes to Port !!! ....GEEL hardly put up an effort to retain him

Isn't that the definition of a lazy AFL footballer ?

If you actually watch the St Kilda games the delivery Classic Billings gets is disgusting and half the time this team mates straight up ignore him even if he's in a good position.

I would ignore Billings too if I played for the saints as well.:moustache:

At this point I don't even care anymore about Billings. I have succumb to the notion that I will get a 50 from him till i get him to the f7 spot.
