What do you think of Maynard as an option now that Howe is out for 3 months?

I rate Maynard I nearly started him. Looks like his role hasn't been the same as last year. If he resorts back to that rebound type role he's a bargain at 430.

My Walker story:

In : Caldwell (350k) > Walker (300k) Round 3

Out: Walker (465k) > Bolton (480k) Round 8

Average while in my team: 93

The sad parts of this story are the injuries to Caldwell and bloody Bolton. There's no way Walker's part in the tale wasn't an unmitigated triumph.

Same here (minus the Caldwell bit). Happy with Tex's money and average, then Bolton coming in for scoring 108. Shame he's a ****wit who has close to singlehandedly destroyed my chances of winning it this year.

If he plays small he scores well. When he's forced to play tall he struggles. Roughy is out, but Madgen is likely to come in. Looks like Moore is permanently back to defence and they want to pump games into Keane. So Maynard's scoring should be better, but I wouldn't do it, too risky imo, and I'm an owner.

My ranking's cooked anyway, my sights are firmly on winning one particular league in which I am top 4 with plenty of easy wins to come. Just gotta wind the machine up to perform at the end of the year

Ridleys is a safe bet. At worst he'll average close to 100. At best he's back to his SP ways like earlier this year. I'm waiting 1 more week to see how he goes but you don't have that option.

Yeah, I'm doing it because a) he's not moving from defence, Bucks wouldnt dare and b) he's dropping 2 crap scores from his cycle so a kick up of 50-70k and c) he's gonna see a lot of ball next 3 weeks and d) i think he'd be a good d6 to final trades which is where he sits in my team now with Kosi d7 and e) highmore is an in this week and f) I'm an idiot.

Cash gen a issue atm but if Highmore, Flynn and Waterman can get games you should be ok. Plus a few new rookies that will pop up obviously.

Original thoughts were Rowe > Poulter and Warner > SP but that d6 is vulnerable. Tough one mate.
