Re: Round 11 Trades

Somebody > Chappy because he won't be this cheap again.

Need to see if Howlett gets dropped too.

Forward line is my last area to upgrade but with Balla, Fyfe, and Rocky all playing that well this weekend, I can't trade them this week.

So I'll go Chappy and keep a bit of cash in reserve.

Re: Round 11 Trades

Out: Harvey, Higgins, O'Keefe, Shaw
In: People who know how to score!

But seriously, probably Trengove > Someone, Waters > Premium (not sure who yet)

Re: Round 11 Trades

Hasn't Chapman got a substantial BE this week as well? May be worth waiting a week. Need to find a way to get him in. Getting ROK for Reiwoldt instead of Chapman was a real stuff up.

Re: Round 11 Trades

i rekon i might bring in montagna. ryan okeefe, gaz and brownie on the radar.

Re: Round 11 Trades

Sylvia looks to have bottomed out,so will take him this week.

shaw definately. i'm thinking kennelly to shaw this week. shaw should be at around the 430k mark i would think?

thoughts on duffield - has he bottomed out? he's at 440k

Yep,Duffields on the rise again,has a B/E of 61 next week.

Shaw has some more to fall yet,has a B/E of 146 this week. If he plays another stinker he'll be sub 400

Re: Round 11 Trades

I'm getting Ablett in this week for Martin. He smashed the unaccountable eagles last year with 175, and seeing how Gibbs dismantled them today, those sweet 350+ points he's likely to give my team is worth more than the 5-10k that he'll go down in price.

Re: Round 11 Trades

May do:

Howlett > Gysberts
Martin > Montagna

But i'll probably leave that until next week. Howlett can still make a few dollars next week and Gysberts has another week before being on the bubble. Before lockout the following week if Gysberts is still in the team it's a done trade. I hope Montagna hasn't risen too much, but would still be able to afford it. Just need extra $$$ for Harvey or Hall or something to Riewoldt when he comes back. :D

Re: Round 11 Trades

Got an important game this week, 1st (me) v 2nd, so really want the win. I have tons of cash ($490k) SO am thinking of 2 upgrades (one in Defense and one in the midfield) to go out all guns blazing... The options are endless tho and am interested in everyone's thoughts on the following options:

Def: Gilbert/Fisher/Duffield/Gilbee
MID: Montagna/Mitchell/NDS/Murphy/Pendles/Hayes/Gibbs

I'm thinking Ball/Martin > Montagna and Waters/Hunt > Gilbee but liked the look of Gibbs and Hayes. And think Murphy will be Mr.Consistent. Pendles looks set for a good run home and Mitchell is finally finding some form too (and with Brown out all the more points for him imo).... Decisions decisions.

My team atm is:

Goddard, Hodge, Malceski, Enright, Waters, Maguire, Hunt (Kennelly, Webberly)
Ablett, Swan, Selwood, Barlow, Judd, Ball (Martin, JKT)
Sandilands, Cox (Skipper, Grimley)
Brown, ROK, Goodes, PODs, Rioli, Fyfe, Playfair (Rockliff, Davis)

Some helpful comments would be well... helpful... :p

Yeah, I'd be holding off on Gysberts... Last thing you need is for him to get 2 games then nothing else (I doubt it but you never know do you). Am thinking Rockliff & Davis will get me Roo when he comes back... Hopefully.

Look like fantastic trades but i would be upgrading your midfield last. Depends how long you can put up with Ball's inconsistency i guess :D

Your main problem is you've got some waiting to do for your last 4 forwards to peak but seeing they'll all do that around the same time i'd upgrade elsewhere then in 2 weeks move on them.

If it were me i'd be upgrading Kennelly and Hunt, rotating Waters/Magure as your B7 and then in 2 weeks, upgrading your last 2 fwds (to Pav and someone maybe). Then i'd probably upgrade Ball.

Depends on how many trades left and where you think you'll gain more points i guess.

EDIT: not so sure thats the best way to go actually. it's late :D

Re: Round 11 Trades

Haha... it is late but I'm watching a reply of the Turkey GF (c'mon Webber!!) so all's good. ;):thumbsu:

Yeah, I guess the midfield will always have options... Just think I want some sainters (thus Montagna/NDS/Hayes & Gilbert/Fisher) cause they have a good run home and are well priced at the minute.

Re: Round 11 Trades

Goddard,Hodge,Malceski,Enright,Newman,Maguire,Hunt (Davis,Webberly)
Ablett, Dal Santo, Cross, Barlow, Mithcell, Martin (Bastinac, Shuey)
Sandilands, Naitanui (Trengove, Lobbe)
Pavlich, Brown, o'keefe, Hall, Higgins, Ziebell, Hitchock (Playfair,Roberts)

$228,000 in the bank and 12 Trades Left.

I think I really have to improve my team, but not sure where to go. I think my options are to upgrade Martin to a Premium (Bartel, Montagna, Gibbs, Murpy, Selwood) or use my Money to Upgrade Hitchock with my spare Money (Steve Johnson, Adam Goodes), I could get rid of Davis and use the money to upgrade Hitchock to Chapman . What's everyone's thoughts, I would really like to get Chappy but would like to take advantage of Bartel's price? I believe my fwd line is the biggest issue. Alternatively I could downgrade Hitchock, I'm pretty lost. Don't know what to do ?

Re: Round 11 Trades

HODGE GODDARD MALCESKI SHAW HUNT WATERS MAGUIRE silvagni webberley
BARTEL J.SELWOOD PENDLEBURY GIBBS BARLOW BOYD stanton kayler-thomson
SANDILANDS HILLE leuenberger renouf
GOODES FRANKLIN PAVLICH ZEIBELL CHAPMAN PODSIADLY PLAYFAIR watts moore

6 trades $307k

sitting 2nd, play 1st in 2 weeks, otherwise easy run home.

was gonna do stanton > ablett this week, but stantons better game gives me doubts, but he aint ablett. even if i do it, who then is benched ?

the 2 non playing on the bench are a concern - no value - any know when either will return ?

will upgrade a defender or 2 nearer finals time. shaw giving me the S****. maybe sack spare rucks to raise cash.

apart from ablett in (maybe) no more trades unless forced.
